Why didn't you change the bland beta looking unfinished post SP2 startup screen to the better SP1 style with the Professional and the 1985-2001??
If this June release is the last Integral release of XP, than that change to the startup screen I suggested would be the crowning cherry on the sundae.

Does integral xp work with NVMe SSD or only SATA ones?

      Hi,
this nice XP works also for nvme devices.
Best driver for this is the Microsoft nvme driver

@KiddyFiddler All forms of 'solid state storage' R inferior 2 spinning hard discs, as those don't have limited write cycles.  Depending on the type of SSD U R looking at as low as literally only about 100 writes 2 each location = LOL!!  Then things get slower & more buggy until 'planned obsolescence' catches up with U & 'forced' 2 buy another, meanwhile if U get the right 'real' drives & keep them cool (spinning platter types) they can often last literally decades non stop endlessly re-writing.  Don't waste your time.  U really need that program 2 open instantly instead of 3 seconds?  Give me a break =))  The risk is not worth the reward, + they R a horrible value price per gig wise.

A lot of SSDs R not even faster than real (spinning) drives, as once U R past the 'cache' area they use 2 get 'fancy numbers' things bog down even SLOWER than a 'hard drive' in many cases depending on the 'bit depth' they R using in the chips, which can B 1 (on/off) or like 16 different 'voltages' where it has 2 'detect' more precisely (& slowly). Lot of 'large capacity' solid state storage dies much faster than the smaller capacity types 4 same reason = avoid them all. Stick with spinners. =)

@Dood McMan SSD are only useful if you're in desperate need for good seek-times. Many of my WD winchesters are 10+ years and still going strong 24/7. (Seagate, not!) Use SSD for continous round the clock working discs and you can notice how it discreetly shrinks until it finally collapse sometimes after warranty expired.

@Dood McMan mechanicals also die without any warning even new, remember weaks ago a brand new conected seagate external of 4 TB died wit just some hours  of use while copying filed to it, it just dissapeared, after checking and checking even took it out of the enclouse, never spinned again, no sound, nothing, replaced the pcb circuit, nothing revive it.. it just died without any electrical or shock issue, i guess internal circuit got damaged ....the only leason to always remember is.. to have multiple backup, never trust any disk, all of them soon or later die....could be new, old, ssd, mechanical.... etc

      @Hostos Fernandez Don't use Seagate.
Although I've bought 40/40/20 Seagate/WD/Other for years, I currently have zero Seagate running because they break down faster than I can type this post.

Seagate is a little cheaper per Gigabyte because it uses DM-SMR "Device-Managed Shingled Magnetic Recording" instead of CMR "Conventional Magnetic Recording".

WD by tradition does not, but I believe they now have bad EFAX models to compete with Seagates lower price instead of good EFRX models (CMR) they always used to sell.

I couldn't find the link to the original article describing the problem with DM-SMR but here is a decent substitute: https://www.storagereview.com/review/wd-red-4tb-hdd-review-wd40efrx

(Last and final Seagate External I bought, USB-connected, 2 or 4 TB, don't remember, also broke down a few hours after I plugged it in. I've never bought a Seagate since.)

Hi, I'm trying to install this on a physical laptop, it's an HP 15-bs148nl mounting a Samsung MZVLB512HAJQ-000H1 SSD. I've tried every single SATA/AHCI and NvMe driver available in the Patch Integrator's options menu but I still get a 0x0000007B bsod during the installation right after "setup is starting windows" . Of course there's no Advanced tab in the BIOS, so I can't even switch to IDE mode. Help 😥

      Take a look,
how this SSD is connected to the motherboard. For example with win10 in Device Manager.
May be, it is not connected as Sata drive, but as nvme.
Then, use the Microsoft nvme driver.
For boot, there may be a problem with the nvme driver,
because the driver is not loaded early enough in time.
But this you can check, if you see an nvme device after hit F8 in XP Setup

Also you can try to boot from USB.
For this enable "Life USB" in Integrator also.
Then boot the notebook from an external USB device.
After this, you can copy the full contend to the Sata device (after recognicing the Sata device) under USB boot. This will work

      1)  What do I have to do in order to live boot from USB after I create the ISO?
      2)  I tried to use WinSetupFromUSB to load a floppy img for F6, but I don't have the txtsetup.oem for the MS nvme driver and I have no idea how to write it myself.

And the Additional drivers (Wireless Ethernet drivers folder) in the Extras folder from Windows XP archive. What I should do to integrate them in a original copy of XP?

      @Dietmar The SHA-1 should be: 372bf624075023188214e5a931a2543217e70dcc
I did not add any Hash because the Zip-Archive file will do an error if it is corrupted.

Tried installing this from CD but getting error 0x0000007B during windows setup. I thought this build had pre-loaded AHCI drivers?

@Majix This dose not mean it has compatible drivers for every every single SATA controller. That's why you have the option to add you own SATA driver or add one of the backported Windows 7 SATA driver.

HAY People! =) I don't see any E-Mail contact information for the developers of 'MyPal' web browser so maybe you guys could forward this to them? Hi I'm happy to pay them to do this stuff if needed. They can reach me at 'balkanguy (at) live (dot) com' =)

This runs fast with Youtube, despite all the deliberate sabotage with tons of 'broken java hell'. Google did this to try & force everybody to use their 'rendering engine', & it worked ~>
    https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68/

I don't really mind that so much, so long as there is something that will work, & is customizeable =) Note the several 'contribotors' also, & older (worse) version (slow with Youtube) examples ~>

    Summary:
It would be awesome if you did these things for MyPal browser =)
~ Create a 'portableapps.com' type version (so can easily move to USB sticks & different PCs =)
~ Disable (by default) any sort of 'auto-update checking' & 'automattic update' features (very annoying & could 'break things' otherwise)

Some details how to do it? ~>

    https://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/create-a-portable-version-of-any-application-in-windows/

BTW: I checked out https://invidious.io/ & though that's a great idea & certainly very useful for lots of people trying to minimize the anti-user broken java bloat hell of sites like Youtube, the 'Windows 7 versions of Firefox' after installing some ad-blocker add ons is even faster & eliminates ads & other 'custom layout options' easily =) If you like I can send you a specific list?

    Details:
It would be great if you made a 'portableapps.com' version of Mypal (version 68.13.0b & beyond) as 'portableapps.com' versions so we can easily move them to USB sticks & other PCs without the need for re-installing anything (including the 'add-ons').

I've tried many other XP-compatible browsers but none from that site or anywhere else quickly render 'java hell sabotage' pages like from Youtube & Craigslist fast & correct, & also 'Firefox' (on which yours is based?) is the only portable version I've found that really is 'portable' because it will save all the add-ons & stuff properly instead of requiring they be re-installed 'from the cloud' when launching on a different machine, etc.

Another thing that would help a lot is to disable by default all of the auto-checking & auto-updating features, so does not block any sort of add-on installation (other than maybe a popup 'this is not compatible but do you want to install anyway?' warning, and no problems where it can sabotage things by auto-changing things by 'calling home' & so on. Everything should happen only at the express intent of the user.
