@Brad turn the windows firewall off and see if that helps.  Secondly, and I know this might be teaching you to suck egg but have you selected private network for your home network, windows has changed mine in the past to public and turned file sharing off.  Also look at network and internet settings > Advanced network settings > advanced sharing settings, make sure network discovery is on, file and printer sharing is on and check the file sharing connections.  If its set to 128 bit (recommended) try 40- or 56-bit encryption.  I know its not as secure but some old shares will only be visible with that option set

U r the man dude...Seriously thanks...U bring in mind good old hacker legends like Mitnick during his youth , not only a kick ass scientist but also a free man in the digital sense , before the Matrix 1999.

I read some bad things about Windows 11 recall so called feature actually it is prone to privacy , more like windows ME 2000 remote whatever during ancient times over a quarter of a century ago u think u can patch this up?

I am more a win 10 guy i am following win 11 cuz of ramsey...Trying to figure what these guys in Seattle are up to with Win 12 , other than that should it not be Ramsey i would not bother even reading tech articles.

Does this work though (I've seen 24h2 won't work with the new processor requirement and if you force it (which someone did) it will just bootloop.?

@Cdeck94 Check if you CPU supports SSE4.2 and if yes then it should work.

Goodnight. I have successfully installed version 24H2. However, when I open File Explorer - maximized - when I click on the three dots - other options - I cannot see all the options. Can you help, please? Thanks

U probably have a hardware problem , or the image you created through usb or DVD double layer was not successful OR even an electricity failure can destroy the installation process...

Do you get random memory access errors when opening programs?

Generally speaking Ramsey's Distros are 99% ok...

@jbingfaii Thanks for the answer. The installation was successful. Everything is working fine, with the exception of the anomaly I reported in File Explorer. Unlike the Sort and View options, whose windows show the options at the bottom of the bar, when I click on the three dots the window with the different options appears at the top, not being fully visible. I can only access it with File Explorer minimized.

The only way to access all the options after clicking on the three dots is to have the file manager minimized, according to the attached image

@António Carlos Cardoso Dias U could have a malware , try avast antivirus or even better try/buy karpersky i am typing this but they are releasing no bullshit software...
Another option is Adaware which is supposedly free...

Problem with windows installations legit or not is the so called file integrity check and reparation system goes straight to the toilet let's say after 2 years tops.

U need to regularly back up on stick or external hard drive , if u are in some kind of serious business Linux is better generally i am in kubuntu easier to install and maintain , these guys no matter the distro deserve credit for their hard work , no offense to anybody else involved.

Have you tried to install the OS on a different device? AND are u certain the Stick or the DVD are in good condition compare to the reading machine? Is the process of installation smooth? Especially when reading Optical Disk even a tremor or electricity fault may cause bad file copy it feels as sensitive as giving birth to a child...Sort of.

Search on pegasus software it is a remote control program someone could be causing you "logical" errors so that you provide admin privileges and him or them include you in their farm...

Last but not least try copilot by microsoft it could be as easy as clicking on something...It is a human oriented chat bot based on the bing engine , may it provide a hint nobody knows here yet...until we may find out for ourselves.

      EDIT:

Well i checked on the image and it seems more a perception problem...
If u do not bother it wont bother u , other than that it may be display options or something you have done , once Microsoft said during their windows vista development it is like building a boeing 737 an extremely complicated device.

Last ditch try copilot based on bing search engine which is like 3 percent compare to the entire internet , it is faster than firefox or chrome or opera AI is cutting edge not the best but it feels human , u never know...

@Rzrbladekiss Did you use the new ISO version 2024.11.14 or the old one from October?

@Rzrbladekiss What on earth u need a pro or enterprise edition for? Ramsey includes them all from what i saw but if u are in serious business perhaps u should be legit in acquiring the product.

Is there ever a possibility of Win10/Win 11 lite versions so they can fit on/burn to a single 4.37gb iso disc? Thanks.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 23 days ago
@Mick The Win10-IE 32-bit should fit on a DVD. And all 64-bit computers should have USB Boot support.

@Ramsey Thanks Ramsey. I got blinded 😉by the 64 bit versions. That 32 bit will do nicely😀

@Mick U r asking too much in an age gone too old , CD DVD are legacy media for the sake of , u need rufus and an over 2 version usb well working port and of course patience...And depending on what u use to make it work...U don't expect a usb stick to transfer proper data outa nowhere and after being crashed over under a train twice do ya?
