Microsoft still offer KB4487085 acknowledging it is very buggy, yet it causes 'The procedure entry point sprinttf_s could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll.' and people only see the warning/after effects after the fact of installing it when their system crashes. Well done Microsoft! (clap)

The Microsoft update KB4487085 is bugged and it was removed for the Windows XP Update Center.
If you have already uninstalled KB4487085 and still have errors then you should also try uninstalling KB4486463.

      @Ramsey Hi Ramsey
Do you mean KB4487085 is removed from your system next Integral version? I'm still getting this update KB4487085 showing on MS Auto Updates notification along with 11 others, so it is not removed from Microsoft site at all. Thanks.

@Tim This KB4487085 is a new Microsoft update from February it was never integrated into WinXP-IE. ;)

The Integral I have onboard is the July 16th 2018 1st version and every online MS update was without problems. Yesterday I was notified of 12 updates by Auto Update. I made a restore point as I always do. I installed the Feb 2019 various Net Framework etc security fixes and the result was bad. the updates totally screwed up my desktop programs, ctfmon, Intel driver error messages Avast, Zone Alarm freezing, missing dll warnings etc. In essence on boot up loads of warning boxes.

I rolled back to the restore point and everything was still in a mess. I started frantically looking for other restore point and found a random system check point from nearly 2 weeks ago and Thankfully it worked reversing the damage those deadly MS fixes did.

Do Not install Feb 2019 fixes as 1 or more of them will destroy your system stability. (anger)

The Feb 2019 updates are replacing system DLL files and breaking Win compatibility. Intel errors are thrown up, installed programs are failing to load. Your Installer was broken, Panda Security was broken, a few of my video converterting tools were broken. I had to roll back like Jacko. I'm using Dec 2018 version like Jacko. Beware of these updates.

be aware..just in case you decide to inject latest updates from february, i don't know exactly which update brakes windows functionality, after updates i got visual c++ runtime error with Teamviewer 13 and some nvidia component that start up with windows, there are 8 updates (security ones), after uninstall them and reboot Teamviewer was back again working. just to let you know.. maybe is just one update thaat brakes something, i didn't have time to test each one... for now i won't update for a while

@Rickz Glad to know I'm not alone Rickz. Im going to have to reinstall the whole system now, as the rollback didn't work. Is the Jan updates version of Integral stable? In any case I will revert back to Dec 2018 version of Integral to be sure. Maybe Ramsey will solve the Feb updates problem and isolate the problematic updates?

Your xp 32bit version runs very stable and nice but out of curiosity is there a way I can replace the system files in the iso with the 64bit version of xp that way I can still get your updates, apps, and modifications on a 64 bit version? or would that break the system? If it is ok to replace certain files. Which files / locations would I need to replace? Thank you I appreciate any suggestions.

Fixed my error message with Wisecare 365 pro 5.2.6, awesome little software. One quick scan and all was cured. I got the auto updates message for the Net Framework, but i wont be installing them again. Much prefer them all integrated in Ramsey's next release. Thanks.

@Jacko I updated my system with the Feb 2010 MZ fixes and also had some problems with lots of error warnings on desktop. I use Panda antivirus and it messed that up big time. There were a few Net Framework patches, but which one caused the problem I don't know. I rolled back to a restore point.

What a mess the latest Net Framework security fixes Feb 2019 have made of Integral XP(the Dec 2018 version I'm using). I'm getting Gfxui.exe - Fatal error which is affecting loads of other programs I had installed previously eg the PSUA Console of Panda Anti Virus and loads more like ctfmon.exe etc. A rollback did no good. Only a reinstall will solve. Damn!

@Jacko Thankfully I managed to find an old system restore point from a week ago, so I rolled back all the Microsoft 2019 Feb updates. My installed software all works fine now, except this daft Gfx.UI. error. Any tips on finding this so i can disable it? Apparently it is something to do with Intel? Cheers. I may now do a clean install of the next Integral if out in Feb or wait for last version April when no more Microsoft Updates will come.

Hey I can't get Access 2003 to work on XP-IE. When I try to run Access, it tries to configure Access then asks for the disk. A standard XP Installation disk doesn't do this.

Is it possible to rolling upgrade between Integral Edition versions without having to format and lose user accounts/data etc?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 5 years ago
@DFKTBKO No, But you will get the latest Windows XP Updates also over the Windows Update Center and the few extra programs you can be easily update manually.
