Wood B GR8 if U could upload 2 archive.org (along with links 2 it 4 us =) versions of your customized Windows OSes already configured & fully working in VirtualBox & VMware = like the 'VDI' image files & so on =D  iPosted 4 instance a version of 64 bit Win 7 iGot there & running it on XP (32 bit =)  That way I can use the infinitely better XP 'interface' & 'Explorer' (for file management & stuff) while also being able 2 run 7 'apps' programmers were 2 silly 2 write 4 'XP on up' & instead artificially sabotaged themselves demanding 7+ =D  I'm looking into 'portable-izing' things 2 with stuff like 'thnapp' & whatever.  U familiar with that area?   That would really B the ultimate, so can 'container-ize' things so can mod whatever app 2 run on whatever OS 'we the people' actually want, rather than 'forced' 2 DOWN-grade 2 more recent OSes, just 4 'program compatibility' (meanwhile absolutely EVERYTHING about the OS itself gets infinitely worse, except 'desktop sync' & 'APO' =)

@Dood McMan What's the problem in using the ISO file in VirtualBox?
You can export you own 'VDI' image file at VirtualBox: "File -> Export Appliance".

@Ramsey I tried installing your XP (previous version) in VirtualBox & was unable 2 get audio working, but 3'rd party (non-Ramsey) ones work.  Would prefer 2 use your versions because 'the best' =)  If U want some $ 4 all this stuff I'm happy 2 pay U, like the 'add desktop sync & APO' & other things 2, like 'separate from hardware' so doesn't 'auto-blue-screen-of-death' when changing machines (motherboards), etc etc.  U can post stuff on archive.org & it will always B fast & reliable there, instead of 'random pirate hosts' =)  U can reach me at 'balkanguy (at) live (dot) com' 4 stuff 2 =D

How about this simple (??) idea = $100 to add 'APO' support to XP, & (after that) $100 2 add 'Desktop Sync' (like 7+, 2 avoid video tearing) after that?  & $100 2 disable the fake 'BSOD' bull$hit crippleware hack Micro$hit did 2 pretend it can't 'find new drivers' instead like Win '98 & such always did when changing machines ~ & on & on.  U R free 2 $ell these hacks 2 others 4 whatever prices 2.  4 'exclusive' hacks (which I can $ell alone or $plit W/U) iCan pay U a lot mor! =;-D  Going 'modular' helps with the 'not 2 big a job' thing tho ya?  Like what about $30 4 virtualbox image of your latest OS?

Instead of archive.org U can put them on a 'secret server' with 'passcode'?  Like when buying 'software downloads' or 'music' online or something?  Just ideas = U should maybe set up a $hop 4 this?  U can $ell the 'modification' files & 'tools' 2 'create' the desired item, without directly $elling the actual OS or '3'rd party modules'???  Like probably with 'Desktop Sync' & 'APO' there R 'licensed' DLLs & blabla = the 'tool' 2 do the 'mod' can access those from some 'free' place = kind of like 'jail breaking iPhones'?  I'm not an expert in N E of this stuff, but maybe U R, or would like 2 B = could B a GR8 'bu$iness model' 4 ya =)

Sir Ramsey Please add 'desktop sync' (to avoid video tearing like 7+ with 'aero', but with 'classic' AWin '98 theme =) & 'APO' (audio processor object) 2 XP so we can use stuff like 'Equalizer APO' in XP also, 4 maximum 'home theater awesomeness' =) ~> https://equalizerapo.com/
BTW: Wood B even MOR awesome if U could mod that program 2 do 32 bit float whatever instead of '16 bit PCM' whatever so can avoid 'motherboard noise' when dialing 'down' the highs a ton (2 tame $hitty little speakers).  That way it can 'boost' bass instead, & will also sound smoother as not losing 'stair step intervals' (bit depth) in the highs.  Alternately maybe U can work out some kind of 'ASIO4ALL' thing that can plug into the 'Windows Sound Mixer' so we can use 'whatever' EQ plugin 2 fix the 'master sound output' of the PC =)  With those mods my 'running Windows 11 & 7 & Apple OS stuff on XP via VirtualBox (or whatever) would B complete! =D  4 $ & other tips & stuff U can reach me at 'balkanguy (at) live (dot) com'.

@Dood McMan You should add a link to this 'Desktop Sync' tool.
The "Equalizer APO" isn't really something most people will need. If you need that tool for you headphones or speakers then you have bad headphones or speakers.
And the best option is to buy headphones and speakers that have an Equalizer build-in that can save a sound Equalizer profile.

@Ramsey LOL U R just saying random absurd things 2 pretend improving things is a bad idea = how very 'Linux' of U =))  Like if somebody suggests a way 2 get better broadcast TV reception U R countering with non-solutions like 'few people use broadcast TV.  You should get cable instead!' =))  iAm a YUGE expert in audio & even some aspects of video, & any type of headphones or speakers are always improved with careful equalization, especially parametric, & the very basic stuff like maybe a 'tone' or 'bass/treble' control are not enough.  For instance, I have a nice TV set up in my kitchen for 'dinner theater' type stuff =) ~>
      https://justpaste.it/8mmsh

I got it free from Craigslist ~>
      https://justpaste.it/img/da3c064a0b8a12f5f9274c88abfaee63.jpg
But the built in speakes were 'unusable' = 2 'howling' no matter how iTried 2 tweak them (even with physical mods = just a joke design = using (4 example) only about 1/5 the 'apparent' physical volume = like the thing had been through a series of re-design stages where they kept removing different things until they just said 'fuk it' & shipped it crippled.  It also has the noisiest, most distorted audio amp section in that TV ever =;-o  So iRun it with the sound bar + sub combo iAlso got free with the system off Craigslist ~>
      https://justpaste.it/img/c37fd345be41e54d6cdf1110daed0c5b.jpg

With tweaking via the 'onboard' EQ & so on it can sound really nice, but still nowhere near ideal, so iUse 'Equalizer APO' 2 get it sounding even much BETTER =) ~>
      https://justpaste.it/img/a1b9284447e08db7f9d12fcd6543ab84.png

Nobody ever 'needs' an iPhone or 'Gaming PC' or whatever.  They R things people WANT & the markets totally created from nothing, with no demand B 4 the stuff was available.  Nobody expected 2 B able 2 'do N E thing N E where on a tiny portable device' or 'explore virtual worlds from your keyboard' or whatever, same way most people do not yet know they can massively improve the sound quality of even 'garbage' sounding audio gear with FREEWARE like 'Equalizer APO', & enabling 'APO' (Audio Processor Object) support 4 Windows XP would B amazing, because XP is way better in so many other ways compared 2 Windows Vista & later (7, H8, 10, 11, etc.) or even Mac =;-o

I'm happy 2 pay $100 4 enabling 'APO' in XP as an 'end user' or much more than that as an 'exclusive license' or 'profit $haring' thing if U prefer.  U can reach me at 'balkanguy (at) live (dot) com' =)  I'm guessing that (as an end user, not 'owning' any of the 'mods') maybe iCould get the things iActually 'need' from XP like APO & desktop sync & 'no BSOD' (find the drivers instead, like '98 & others do) 4 under $1,000 that's a GR8 bargain, but others would also B willing 2 buy similar 'add on module improvements'.  I would also like 2 buy pre-installed VirtualBox versions of your hacked windows versions = especially XP & 11, pre-installed there with everything working (audio, & video acceleration) on VirtualBox version 5.0.26.  Later versions R either less reliable or don't run on XP.  Details ~>
      https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=79136&sid=319edb68c374681cbc503068a0d126cb&start=15

= "rolled back to VB manager 5.0.26. Sure enough, ALL of these problems have gone away in the guest after the rollback. Audio/video latency is gone, no memory crashes, and the Windows Update service in the guest is behaving as expected. For now I have no reason to upgrade to the 5.1.x line, as 5.0.26 is stable for me."

iHad the same experience, but nothing is ever perfect! =)  Werx fine tho' so far, but not yet able 2 get audio working with your (previous) version of XP.  7 OK tho ~>
      https://justpaste.it/img/b17a681f2bda619d4e3cffa53515bed3.jpg

Until I go 'full virtual machine' like maybe 'ESXi' VMWare 'bare metal type 1 hypervisor' 2 do everything (& maybe that won't even work?  Or there is some better way??) so far what is looking like the best option is 2 run the other bull$hit operating systems like 11 & 7 & so on WITHIN XP.  N E other thing after that is infinitely worse in so many ways, & only ever useful as a 'compatibility layer'.  I'm also looking into 'portable-ization' of apps like with 'thinapp' & others so can run whatever iNeed on XP 2 =)  It's not like iAm 'crazy' 4 XP.  It's mainly that it is less flawed than the alternatives, like the file manager is quick & E Z & intuitive, especially with QTTab Bar & FastCopy & other plugins installed ~>

@Dood McMan Forget about APO support for Windows XP. Something like this would have existed a long long time ago if it were possible.
You best option is to buy a cheap good PCI/USB sound card that has a software Equalizer.

    Hi Ramsey,
I just install your new XP on my Asrock z370 k6 board.
    I use settings
    Windows XP Professional SP3 x86 - Integral Edition 2023.11.26
    (Customized Option; 1,2,3,5,7,8,A,C,E,F).iso

    All works, nice😀.

I notice, that in Mypal68 you disable the use of multicore cpu.
On most compis I think, you can enable it.
When you have mood and time, just write, how to enable it

LOL @ yor vaxxy masochism tude with the 'please waste all my RAM 4 no good reason' routine =))  U should praise them 4 forcing it single threaded, as ALL browsers should B!  Even Firefox is still a RAM-burner / leaker, B 4 tweaking, but Chrome is even worse, & Opera even worse than chrome = literally gigs of RAM & tons of bull$hi threads just 4 a dozen tabs or so = totally absurd.  The big joke has come real = people think they need a quad core & 8 gigs of RAM 2 check their E-Mail =))  iStill use mainly Firefox 52 because it's so much more efficient & flexible than all the rest, except how JooToob killed compatibility 2 make it slow on N E browser that isn't chrome-based, pretty much, & all the plugins R still available via 'Legacy Collector' & others ~> https://archive.org/details/Firefox_Legacy_Collector_Dump
Lot of the stuff 4 'modern' Firefox is way worse, like 4 instance the clunky downgrade of 'chrome-based' NoScript versions =P

@Dietmar In the "MyPal 68" folder you find a file called "firefox.cfg" which you can be open with a text editor and there you see all the custom settings and can revers them with "about:config" in the MyPal address bar.

Big Congrats for the new release. May I ask, is there anywhere something close to a "changelog" from the last release (in June/23 ?). I would hate to reinstall this OS - jjust adding or updating the changes could be more effective in my case.

    kind regards,
    Maxx (from Austria)

@Maxx (from Austria) No big changes to the base image. The Time Zone settings can be copy for the Registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones) by deleting the old once and add the new once.
Anything else can be installed by Uninstalling the old programs and running the file ".\OEM\RunOnce\WinXPPx86IE - Setup.cmd" from the Disc/ISO.

      @putin_huilo XPChrome mod by OptiJuegos
      https://www.mediafire.com/file/fb3hpx4dtix3q39/XPChrome+V1.0.7z/file

Restore Chromium original logo (the default is green)
Remove the xpbrowser.com website when first starting the browser
+ a batch script to make the browser portable

@putin_huilo This 'XPChrome' thing Runs & 1'st 2 display more web sites correctly, unlike MyPal68 & 360 Browser variants, but eats crazy RAM with tons of extra totally unnecessary threads.  Even MyPal is way better that way (Or Firefox 115 when tweaked down) but ideally Firefox 52 should B modded 2 support JooToob & other sites better, as it can run single threaded & way more advanced 'add-on' options 4 it, + way more stable (though all Firefox browsers leak RAM, it's still better than the alternatives because they eat Crazy RAM much faster = LOL).  N E waze, my main browser is still Firefox 52, & iOnly launch other things when something doesn't display right, or want 2 play Youtube, because they crippled the site so it will only render & play properly with 'chrome' based browser rendering engines.  They should B $ued 4 that = anti-competitive monopoly type crimes =P

Also is it really 'portable'?  U must always start it with the 'batch file'?  Does it retain add-ons & stuff if the 'program folder' it uses is moved 2 a different machine, without needing 2 sign up 4 'cloud' bull$hit? =)  Mail me at 'balkanguy (at) live (dot) com' if U know, & want more tips =D  Currently I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 within XP (32 bit) because everything after it is infinitely worse = can't even manage files properly in 7 or later (forced auto-sorting by alphabet, broken 'lasso' selection features, overly wide space-wasting layout, inconsistent theme colors, etc.) ~>

XP is like a smelly girl = nature is dirty & nothing is perfect.  Just pretend U R on a fishing boat with all the rotting sea flesh & U snagged yorself a Mermaid =D ~>
      https://justpaste.it/img/b17a681f2bda619d4e3cffa53515bed3.jpg

$witching 2 an OS that force-ruins all your file management convenience is not a good solution.  Ideally people should 'portable-ize' the 'Windows Explorer' & 'Save As' dialog thing with QTTabBar & FastCopy & 7Zip installed so it can run on any other Windows OS E Z = 2 launch it like 'Total Commander' except unlike that pile of $hit 'Explorer' is actually intuitive & useful =)

@putin_huilo I would have added it in the Extra ZIP folder, but the added timebomb makes it a big no no.

      Hi Ramsey,
here is the last Chromium 115 Browser,
where I killed the Timebomb and correct the checksum.
Via HTML5 test it gets a score of 538. But I dont know, how to enable WEB GL in it.
The Mypal browser 13.7b is faster and more stable

@Vannura I think there will be another MyPal 68 version next week. It would suck if I release a new WinXP-IE version and 3 days after we have another MyPal 68 release. 🙃
