    Does the Windows XP IE get updates and Security updates?

      The Fugitive · 3 years ago
      @GUEST Nothing from Microsoft. Mr Ramsey does that for us!

      @The Fugitive How will I be notified of any updates/security updates from Ramsey? Will it work on 64bit PC? Is there any possibility of getting the latest Chrome version to work on it?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      The Fugitive · 3 years ago
      @EPL There is a 'Changelog' with each new Integrated Edition. You can install on a 64 bit machine. Chrome browser is a problem, support for Windows XP was dropped a long time ago. You could export your bookmarks from Chrome and import them into the Basilisk browser already installed.

    Ramsey i installed a previous version of yours XP INTEGRAL EDITION in 32bit in an old HP ZD8000 laptop with 3gb of ram but only recognize 2.5gb of ram........i realy enjoy it as an arcade games machine...my question is...if a format again the laptop with your newest XP edition will i have all my 3gb of ram recognized in the system or more if i change the one ram module to higher..???..or not because of 32bit..??

      Ramsey · 3 years ago
      @Chris_Tz You need to use the Optional Patch Integrator script with the 4GB RAM option.

      Chris_Tz · 3 years ago
      @Ramsey All this time iam in 2020.9.9 version...so when i format and install the fresh copy i will run just the Optional Patch Integrator script with the 4GB RAM option..???
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 3 years ago
      @Chris_Tz
      The Optional Patch Integrator script will create a new ISO file with the Patches you selected.

      You can also use the PAE Patch on your existing WinXP-IE by running this command below from the extracted Zip-Archive folder.

      START "PAE Patcher" /D "%SystemRoot%\system32\" ".\Integrator Files\Patches\PAE 3.5+ RAM Unlock\WinXP-PAE-Patch.exe" /M:4GB

    Unfortunately, version 2019.5.18 is the last that two of my computers have sound. Later versions, when I install the driver, the computers remain muted.

      @Hefleann So you're saying the version "2019.5.18" works but the version "2019.6.15" won't?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Hefleann · 3 years ago
      @Ramsey Apologies for the delay. Exactly, the error started from version 2019.6.15 and the new versions continued with the problem. Even by installing older versions of drivers does not solve, they normally install but has no effect. Unfortunately it is not a good time for me to test the latest version (2021.3.20).

      Try to change the wow32.dll file below with the one in the "C:\WINDOWS\system32\" folder and register it with the right click Context Menu.
      You can also try the new version on a separate Partition. 😉

    pae patch not work.

    i use 4gb patch and, i have 8gb ram, but XP recognition only 3.43gb ram. What is wrong?

    And Can i update this version from 2021.02 version?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 3 years ago
      @Dp
      You have to also include the RAM of the Graphics Card RAM into this calculation. Best to use the 128GB option.

      And upgrading will not work. You need to do a fresh installation or de-install the old stuff and install the new stuff manually.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Dp · 3 years ago
      @Ramsey So, the 128GB Patch version was installed. However, it is also displayed as 3.4 GB. So you have not seen the boot.ini file, and the / PAE option is not attached. May I be the cause? If so, what should I do?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 3 years ago
      @Dp
      You don't need to edit the boot.ini file.
      If you using a Virtual Machine then make sure the PAE/NX option is also enabled. 😉
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Dp · 3 years ago
      @Ramsey Oh, PAE / NX was turned off in BIOS :) I fixed this problem and is very happy now. However, do you want to ask one question, which allows this patch to use more than 2 GB of RAM?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 3 years ago
      @Dp All two options will use at least 4GB of RAM.
      4GB = Max 4 GigaBytes of RAM will be used.
      128GB = Max 128 GigaBytes of RAM will be used.
      The 4GB option is more safe to use, because some drivers for WinXP 32-bit will have problems with over 4 GigaByte of RAM.

      @lOLololman7070777!!!!!! that errorcode corresponds to INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error. Are you using the untouched ISO or with the patches integrated (if so, what options did you pick?)
      I recommend to have these options picked when you want to install XP on a modern PC. (Hell, these informations on each of the options are straight-forward but still).
