Hi Ramsey, do I need to do anything else to make concurrent senssions work well 😓? If I try to connect remotely on the same user that is already open locally then the local session logs out and I am left with a blue screen that does not allow me to do anything.

@PopuriAO29 The latest Windows XP "usp10.dll" file is from August 2017 (KB4039384). Not sure if the file "usp10.dll" from the Vista KB4039384 will 100% work on Widows XP. 🙃

This doesn't work with a Compaq Presario 2100 which was designed for XP!  Keeps crashing in a loop with 'Windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close'. Modname: gdiplus.dll - also crashes during options selector windows installer. Even after closing or rebooting it keeps popping up the error in a loop that I can never exit.  Is there something I can do in safe mode to fix the issue?

It looks like you CPU doesn't support the SSE2 instructions.
This is required for some of the latest Windows XP updates.
But you can remove those Windows XP SSE2 updates form the ISO file with the included "Optional Patch Integrator" script in the Zip-Archive file.

I have a friend who claims that Windows Server 2003 R2 can see/understand GUID partition tables on both internal and external hard drives, and that if you transplant two files - disk.sys and partmgr.sys - from 32-bit Server 2003 R2 to 32-bit WinXP, you can get WinXP to see GPT on external hard drives as well. He also says that Paragon GPT loader does something similar, but uses older versions of disk.sys and partmgr.sys from the first release of Server 2003, which is why it only works for internal hard drives. Do you think this is something you can experiment with, and if successful, incorporate into future versions of XP IE?

For the record: Windows XP cannot see DRIVES larger than 2 TB. It doesn't give a damn about partitions. Taking an 8 TB external hard drive and cutting it up into 4 partitions of 2 TB each will not allow XP to see ANY of them.

This was very unfortunate, because I thought that Ganymede, Callisto, Io, and Europa were great partition names.

    Ramsey, fix this somehow LOL.

@Katie Boundary Spiting it into 2TB partitions should work, if you use the MBR for storing the partitioning information on your hard disk drive. You can also try and use the "Paragon GPT Loader v8.0.1.2" tool from the Extra folder in the Zip-Archive file.

This isn't widely known, but there is a workaround for XP so that it can read/write to drives and partitions larger then 2TB if it is connected through a USB enclosure.

I have no idea why this works, but it does.

@infuscomus Recognition of drives larger than 2TB works with Western Digital external drives by formatting them using the dedicated utility. It can also work with other brands but only by using an adapter/pcb from a WD enclosure. Tested on Seagate and Hitachi drives with a single 4TB MBR partition and it worked. Such drives are also correctly recognized in other windows operating systems.

@Ramsey Well I tried splitting the drive into 2TB partitions and Windows XP couldn't see any of them. However, I'm not 100% sure if the drive was MBR or GUID. I just assumed it was MBR. I might be able to check using Linux.

Paragon GPT loader only works for internal hard drives, not external ones.

Is there a x64 variant for this OS?

@A13X There are multiple 64-bit variants of Windows XP, but no Integral Editions of any of them. And you really don't want 64-bit XP anyway. It removed the ability to set animated wallpapers, it can't run 16-bit programs because there's no 64-bit version of NTVDM, blah blah blah... if you need access to more than 4 GB of RAM, then get 32-bit Server 2003, which has PAE.
