I installed XP Integral a couple years ago as QEMU/KVM virtual machine successfully with GPU passthrough, but at the moment it looks that the current QEMU chipset Q35 does not support XP anymore, (https://wiki.qemu.org/images/4/4e/Q35.pdf) so I was wondering whether or not there would be a way to backport the drivers needed, as the alternative chipset, i440fx, does not support PCIe. By using Q35, the XP Integral installation crashes due to incompatible ACPI.

With the Optional Patch Integrator script you can try out the different ACPI.sys files in the ".\Integrator Files\Patches\ACPI drivers" folder and with some luck you can overcome this crash problem.
If you have more technical questions about the backported ACPI drivers then check out the Win-Raid Forum.

Any thoughts on some kind of TRIM application for this version of XP to use an SSD?  Both 32 and 64 XP. I am not savy enough to know how this might play or not. It would seem like an app that can be set to run every so often could take care of that.

@Patrik Could be a SATA driver compatibility problem.
Try to integrate the SATA drive from the Optional Patch Integrator script.

@Ramsey Error recognized for the AVX/AVX2 Enabler (option 9):
      "Executing AVX Patcher . . .
The system cannot find the file specified."

Also the '-v' option does not seem to be included in the command line for the AVX/AVX2 Enabler section in the script v2.4.5

@Andalu It could be that the folder path is too long. Try to put it on the C:\ Root directory.
The -v switch is only to enable the verbose output.

@Ramsey Vanilla ISO, scripts and directories are in the C:\ root but nothing changes. I got the error even selecting only option 9. The script works fine with other options.
Could you give me the SHA-1 of the ntkrpapm_avx.exe obtained from the command line? I would like to compare it with the two ntkrpapm.exe files created in the _compiling folder.
By enabling AVX/AVX2 in the script, do you also get the modified boot.ini?

If you change this below in the script, then it should also work on Windows XP:
      START "" /Wait /b ".\xdelta3.exe"
      TO
      ".\xdelta3.exe"

@Alex The error "not a valid win32 application", normally means that the application is not compatible with Windows XP.

@Ramsey The strange part is that it is compatible with windows XP because I also used it with the older versions of windows Integral Edition (2020.05.05 and 2020.09.09) and I did not have this problem. Where can I download older versions of Integral Edition?

@Ramsey Thanks for your answers, it seems that when I installed Office 2010 for a friend, his antivirus deleted my office activator for XP and left the Activator for Win 7-10.

@Alex You shouldn't really use acti\/ators for Office 2010, the genuine retail copies of Office 2010 is getting cheaper and not only you will have Office 2010 legally, you'll also support MS to make better products (well, don't mind about Windows 10 lol.)

Also if you thought that Windows XP Integral Edition is piracy because of the activation system being a little bit modified, you're wrong, it's because Windows XP activation servers are getting broken as the time goes on. You can actually install your own genuine Windows XP key (use the Professional key or it will not work) using Microsoft's XP Product Key changer, just the activation process may be.... a bit of hit or miss because of the broken activation servers.

Okay, so I've never actually installed this on an actual PC before and I'm trying to use this as a dual boot system.  I burned a custom iso to a cd and everything went fine, but the ln the setup got stuck at "Setup is starting Windows," so I shut down my machine because I'm not sure what to do next.  I will provide specifications of requested.

You should always install the older Operating System (WinXP) first and then the newer one  (Win7) if you do dual boot.
And you should also install Windows XP on a separate Hard Disk drive. Because Windows XP does not support the UEFI/GPT-based hard drive partitions.

@Ramsey Alright, then since I already have Windows 10 installed as my main OS, is it possible to just unplug my C drive and install XP on one of my existing HDDs, or do I have to have a separate drive altogether without anything on it?  If this is the case, (and I know the answer is almost certainly no) is it possible to repartition my existing C drive or other drives to be able to install the OS?

If you existing Hard Disk Drives where formatted with Windows 10. Then they also are UEFI/GPT-based and you will have to reformat the Windows XP Hard Disk Drive completely in the blue Windows XP setup menu.

@Ramsey Sorry for the delay, I've been trying to figure some things out, but have had no luck.  Since I don't have a convenient hard drive to install on at the moment, I've been trying to figure out the process of installing Windows XP on a portable hard disk drive, because I do have one immediately available.  I do have a 1TB internal hard drive, but I have no space left in my case to have all of my drives in at once and I have no idea if Windows XP will work with 1TB of space.  My portable hard drive is 500GB, but as I said previously, I don't know what tinkering is required.  I'm trying to install XP for a specific purpose and I can't do this specific thing via a virtual machine, it pretty much has to be real hardware.

@MarioGuy789 Okay, update: Windows XP did indeed install to the drive, bit now I keep getting the error "Windows could not start because the file hal.dll is missing or corrupt."

@Ramsey I have since done some more experimenting and talking with other people, which led me to discover that booting Windows XP form a portable drive is essentially impossible.  At this point I'm not sure what to do because whenever I attempt to install it to one of my standard drives, setup says it can't detect any hard disks installed in my PC, which is bogus.  I can't seem to switch my SATA modes within my BIOS either, and I can't find the relevant SCSI or RAID drivers to install before proceeding.  I'm just getting very frustrated.

    Hey again

Just installed WinXP Integral on one of my "lab rats"

This shit rocks! I installed the HUN MUI packs from your site as well as some wallpapers here.

I'm about to install some games now (PopCap first, just to make sure everything works).
