(#) General:

* All the Windows 10 Language Packs can be downloaded directly from the Language Settings Menu at: "Settings -> Time & Language -> Language -> Add a language".
* This Windows 10 was not in Audit-Mode and was compiled with the Microsoft DISM tool and is based on the Windows 10 19041.1 en-US x86 source files.
* All the included extras can be modified or removed in the ISO/Disc folder ".\sources\$OEM$" (Removing the $OEM$ folder will also remove the update #1 and #3).
* To set you own preconfigured borwser start page, simply edit the files "initial_preferences" and "firefox.cfg" with a text editor in the ISO/Disc folder ".\sources\$OEM$" or in the Hard Disk Drive folder "C:\Program Files" and "C:\Program Files (x86)".
* A Windows 10 Activator is not included, but a Text file is placed on the Desktop with a direct download link to a good working Activator.
* To install Windows Home edition with a local account, disconnect from the Internet when creating an online account and then click on the back icon at the top left corner.
* System Requirements (Minimum|Recommended): 1|3 GigaHertz x64 Processor with 2|4 Cores, 2|8 GigaBytes of RAM, DirectX 9 Graphics card, 32|120 GigaByte of free Hard Disk storage.

(#) How to do a fresh Windows 10 installation:

1. Use the Windows ISO file and create a bootable USB Flash Drive with a tool like Rufus (http://rufus.ie) or create a bootable DVD disc with a program like CDBurnerXP (http://cdburnerxp.se).
2. Do a BACKUP of your important files on a separate Drive.
3. To avoid accidentally creating a Windows 10 Online Account or running into the Account bug (Other user), disconnect your Computer from the Internet before you install.
4. At the Windows 10 Setup menu select "Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)".
5. Delete all the old Windows Partitions and then click on install (Be very careful to select the correct hard disk drive).

So far found 2 bugs that I can't solve.
    1. Unpin program from taskbar always come back on reboot.
    2. Unable to set default program/file association.
Been googling for several days but nothing works so far.

    Any help appreciated.

@Gerry 1. Windows 10 is not allowing programs to change some file associations like Muisc files, Video files or the default Browser. You have to do this in the Windows 10 option "Start menu -> Settings -> Apps -> Default apps".
      2. This is Microsoft problem when adding new custom default Taskbar Icons for a new Windows 10 installation.
I found a workaround for this by simply adding the attached file in this post to the Windows 10 folders
"C:\Users\<-Your-Account-Name->\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" and "C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" (Create the "Startup" folder if it doesn't exist). And after that you only need to restart your computer.
This file will do a workaround for this Microsoft problem and then delete itself. ;)

    some questions:
1- Is this version safe from hackers and is my information safe in it?
2- Where is the Windows Updates icon in the Control Panel?
3- Why there are some tasks in running tasks that consume Internet speed like Delivery Optimization and Background Intelligent Transfer Service ?
4- What are the differences between the original and the modified version?
Note: First time use Windows... first time see like these site ...

@aloush 1. It's as safe as any other standard Windows 10.
      2. In Windows 10 this option was moved to "Start menu -> Settings -> Apps -> Update & Security".
      3. These things are all from Windows 10, put them in a search engine to find out more information about them.
      4. This Windows 10 has all the latest Updates included with a few extras, see the ReadMe file.

Is the old reliable Daz activator been removed from downloadsdownloads section, always worked for me before. Can't get the new activator KMLS to work. Thanks.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 6 years ago
@Ron The developer of DAZ has dropped his project. And the KMS is still beeing update/maintained by the developer.

On which Windows do you use KMS? Try to open the "KMS_VL_ALL.cmd" with a text editor and change "set _Debug=0" to "set _Debug=1" and upload the log file.

Probably a daft question, but always wondered why xp as a system is under 700mb, but Win10 is a few GB or more? Is it possible out of curiosity to strip Win10 to 700mb like xp integral without compromising anything?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 6 years ago
@Jacko Whit every new Windows they add new functionalities and they also have to make it backward compatible to run old programs/games.
And striping Windows 10 is possible but not to 700MB.
It's also not a good idea to strip any Windows because, for example one program would require IE11 and a different program would require Edge.

      Jacko · 6 years ago
@Ramsey Thanks Ramsey for clarification. Makes me think that XP Integral with its just under 700mb size is rather unique! (clap)

Sorry Ramsey, I don't want any pre-loaded stuff, even from you. I have my eye on Enterprise LTSB to keep from being inundated with features I don't want. I'd rather tailor it to my own needs. As I use John Haller's PortableApps suite, it gives me a sort of second start menu in the taskbar. After NAND memory failed me, I installed it on one of my conventional 2.5 inch HDD and it actually serves me better this way, if I need to go portable, simple copy to a fresh USB stick, another OS installed, just create another shortcut.

    Here are my reasons:

Here among others are scene sources:

      Ramsey · 6 years ago
@LoneBrowncoat LTSB is only an older branch of the normal Enterprise branch.
You can simply uninstall or ignore the Apps you don't like.
This spying in Windows 10 is more of a concern than a few pre-installed Apps that are also slowly replacing the old tools like the Photo viewer.

      @LoneBrowncoat From Howtogeek

"Windows 10 LTSB omits a lot of the new stuff in Windows 10. It doesn’t come with the Windows Store, Cortana, or Microsoft Edge browser. It also omits other Microsoft apps like Calendar, Camera, Clock, Mail, Money, Music, News, OneNote, Sports, and Weather."
There are third party replacements for these, and I certainly don't need the latter five because I already have them via my browsers. What I need is the stability that LTSB provides.

@LoneBrowncoat Then I guess you have to go off on your own then. I asked him earlier, he said he doesn't work with it as hes finds it too out of date for his preferences. Hes providing a convenience and if its not satisfactory then you have to do the effort on your own, which is really the only way to get exactly what you want from the available options.

@LoneBrowncoat The system is tailored for most user not individuals who are are fussy what they may or may not want. Petition Microsoft for a better system might be a better use of your time instead!

; Sets the Telemetry option to "Security" [Enterprise version only] (Privacy Setting).
