    noticed that thehotfixshare is down and can't access the website
    Will get another SP2 update file KB894871 23 more languages.
    Currently only Korean.

    I used the last version of rufus that supported XP and this doesn't seem to work on my 915PM chipset laptop. Can you include a generic IDE driver so I can install this on an older PC? It won't see my IDE drive.

      @Spence Windows XP has already a default generic IDE driver built-in. Try not to use Rufus for Windows XP and use WinSetupFromUSB that you can find on the Extra Goodies ISO file.

    I want to buy a cheap mini PC, with little power draw that I can run this XP build on.

    It should be:

    -low on power consumption
    -small
    -cheap to get on the used market.

      @hanoka I have a very-similar setup that I am trying (in vain) to get XP setup on, with certain requirements of needing access to my ASUS nVidia GT740 card for OpenGL. Resurrecting an old arcade cabinet I built in 1998 that had a front-end build with Macromedia Director (3DArcade) that requires Shockwave to run. XP was the last OS to allow the Shockwave player. Also have USB controller cards for the joysticks. That old PC bit the dust and currently going with an ASUS B550M Gaming, AMD 5700x, ASUS GT740, 32GB RAM. For the last few weeks tried with Proxmox + WINXPIE, but can't get the GPU passthrough to work w/local video output--PM just throws ioctrl reset errors even though XP sees the hardware and the drivers had installed (but with bang symbols). 
      I think my next attempt is to try and install on bare metal and noticed your post above. Could use some help on your install path with WINXPIE and which options you chose, etc., and maybe a little clarification on the PAE patch (I saw a bit about it in the subfolders of the package) and limiting the RAM. Thanks in advance for any assistance you are willing to give with my upcoming install.

      My XP installation environment is special, I am using Japanese MAR XP Pro SP3 with Patch Integrator v4.0.2.3 with integrated Acpi, SATA, NVMe, USB3.x drivers on CD-R.
      (Customized Option; 1,2,3,4,5,A,B,C)
      Virtual PC/PAE patch not used, XP installed directly on Ryzen 7 5700X/B550 mother/HDD 2TB.
      BIOS: (7C95v2L) AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.Ca
      　Settings/Advanced/Windows OS Configuration - BIOS CSM/UEFI Mode [CSM].

      I have not tried this on this mother, but on an installation on a Gigabyte B450M S2H with 16GB/8GB memory with the PAE patch applied, I got BSoD after installing the Realtek HD-Audio Driver, and with 4GB memory I had no problem, so I used the PAE patch I made CD-Rs with and without the PAE patch, and installed without the patch on Ryzen mothers.
      I have also installed XP on ASUS TUF B450M PLUS-GAMING (BIOS: 2202)/Ryzen 5 3600/Radeon R7 250 and ThinkCentre M725s Small (Ryzen 5 2400G)/Radeon R5 340X as well.

    For many millions (billions?) of people throughout the world, Windows XP is still the only option for doing actual work.  It's very common in retail, factory, & other 'industrial' applications as well as office stuff & (for example) runs almost all the ATM machines, world wide.  It seems 'Windows 10 LTSC' might be worth a try, but only if it has a 'Windows Explorer' file management interface like Windows XP does, where we can quickly & easily apply a 'global' (system-wide) folder view (like 'details'), & have it stick, & compact view (without wasted empty wide line spacing), & does not force 'index' with 'loading bar of death' style nonsense any time you click a folder with lots of 'media' in there, or whatever.  This is all quick & easy to do with the 'Windows XP Integral' edition, but can you release a version of Windows 10 that works the same way?  I can give you $1,000 on verification it does the thigs mentioned above (global folder view, no 'loading bar nonsense delays', etc.).  Some options to try = of course nobody wants all that spyware & 'ai' nonsense either ~>

      @Mr. Guest I also have indexing off but if I disable it by default then I will see comments from people that say why the search within files doesn't work anymore.
      The 'global' folder view can also be set in the Folder Options menu if you in the root drive folder.

      And there will probably be also a patch to get the LTSC update support on all Windows 10 version. If not then i will switch to LTSC.

    Is there a way to install addons/extentions to Mypal? I want to implement an adblocker, but the search option isn't showing ANYTHING at all, doesn't matter what keywords I used.

      @Algoflex You have to manually download older add-on versions that are compatible with Firefox 68.

      As already mentioned, Mypal 68 supports only web extensions. We can try to use all web extensions which are provided on official Firefox Extensions homepage: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/. But do not think each of them will work in Mypal 68! First we have to take account of the minimum version number less or equal to 68, of course, but that's not all. A lot of supposedly compatible extensions don't work in Mypal 68. For example, many "Clear Cache" extensions don't do their job properly. You think the cache has been deleted by clicking, but that's a fallacy. Either you have to install some so-called "native applications" which have to be installed in your system to grant access to restricted functions in Mypal 68, unfortunately not being Windows XP compatible like, for example, node.js, a JavaScript runtime built, or they simply don't work as expected. The same applies to the so-called browser restart extensions. They are not able to perform a complete, real restart of Mypal 68. I found a lot of them, and they are all crap. Anyway, beware of these useless, crappy extensions!

      @Algoflex MyPal is slow & broken (causing display & lockup issues system-wide), & the creator refuses to ever fix it, so it is pointless.  Instead, try Supermium with 'Foxified' installed.  It will even run on XP, with option to install Firefox add-ons =)
      Note: Versions after 'R7' are not runing on XP, so pointless.

      @Mr. Guest MyPal 68 isn't really slower but it would be better the creator would focus on fixing the small bugs first instead of doing a big update that adds other new small bugs. And Supermium is already included in the Extra Goodies ISO file.

      Supermium 132.0.6834.213 R2, released on March 26th, 2025 (5 days ago), 
      fly like a rocket, all over the web, from my Windows-XP. Including YouTube, Gmail, Amazon, web-shops, PayPal, banking... Didn't try Foxified, don't need Firefox add-ons. All extensions I use work too. I even managed to modify and prevent further automatic update of IDM (Internet Download Manager, IDM Integration Module 6.42.18.3, last version for WIN-XP). I get same speed test results as from Windows-11, Ping 2ms, Download-Upload over 900Mbs,
