Why you calling SA3009008.1st_UserStart.AddReg when the destination line is in comment?
Some lines in txtsetup and dosnet are double on the same [section]
In notepad4  select section and Edit->Selection->merge duplicate lines

      Ramsey · 3 days ago
@travma If I remember correctly then the "SA3009008.Delay_Actions.AddReg" is the default setting and the "SA3009008.1st_UserStart.AddReg" is the User setting (SSL3.0 off).

And not all lines are real duplicates in the txtsetup and dosnet file but some are. This is a cosmetic left over bug from the Black Edition. 😅

      travma · 2 days ago
@Ramsey Don't throw the ball out of the field, SA3009008.Delay_Actions.AddReg this does indeed change the registy, but the SA3009008.1st_UserStart.AddReg does nothing.

The official ms version has also the same glitch. Can you point a duplicate line that does not real (whatever that means to you), because I don't see such a thing.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 2 days ago
@travma This UserStart part of the SA3009008 is commented out beacese I didn't want to disable the SSL 3.0 in Internet Explorer 8.

And by not real duplicates I mean that you have entries in the txtsetup and dosnet file in different sections like [SourceDisksFiles.x86] and [SourceDisksFiles] and that's what I mean by not real duplicates.

Ran a virus scan, and 95 detections. This happened after I downloaded Windows XP Integral Edition. Interesting.

I have a question, why did you never develop a Windows 7 edition?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 4 days ago
@Cameron D. Cole I don't see any real reason in using Windows 7 over Windows 10. And Windows 10 will get updates until 2032.

@Ramsey Sure but Windows XP is 8 years older than Windows 7, yet there is still updates to Windows XP Integral Edition. And most people like Windows 7 over Windows 10.

What about the patch that installs the 2003 x86 kernel, is it compatible? This is from One-Core-API-Extras-main, it might be useful since Server 2003 SP2 x86 does not have memory leak issues when using modern chromium. (EDGE, webview2 among them)

I have the same idea as you but I will try to make another version Home Media Center Tablet PC for Windows XP and based on unofficial updates soon.
    English only
I will include Kel Runtimes and C++ Addon with Silpsteam
And not cut anything except DOTNETFX folder
And there is a DriverPacks Base set that includes only SATA and Lan.

Hi there, I have quite an interesting situation that I would like to discuss with the developer. I installed Windows XP x86 integral edition. It is installed flawlessly. However, I have one major issue. I can't seem to get sound working. I'm also having an issue with my external SSD. It's detected in Windows when I plug it in. I get a your device may not work properly error. I also downloaded Windows XP to give one core API a try. Most of the programs that I would use are x64-based. Would you ever consider making an x64 version of this OS? What's the best way that I can get in contact with the developer? Thanks everyone!

@Tyler Most of the added things in WinXP-IE don't exist for WinXP 64-bit. If you need a 64-bit Operating System simply use Windows 10/11.

@Ramsey https://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/17689-xpw2k3-x64-on-modern-hardware/ There are instructions on how to create Windows XP x64 with modern hardware support. If that's not enough for you, you can visit the Discord server. https://discord.gg/eRcGuFtn6p One Core API (OCA) is being developed here, and you can also find ported drivers from Windows 8/8.1, additional ACPI 2.0 drivers, and more... You can contact me there (my nickname is mirik2009). Unfortunately, I was unable to register on this site due to a broken captcha.

    https://archive.org/details/windows-xp-epsilon-edition-update-3.1
    https://archive.org/details/windows-xp-epsilon-edition-extras-pack-2.5

Would it be possible to add some stuff from this mod to XP Integral Edition? The creator probably won't mind as long as you will credit them.

    Happy Valentine's Day btw!

      @Ramsey
Yeah, Windows mods are common to not have any actual documentation. However, you should install the mod and there is a readme file on the desktop. Generally, I wanted you to make an optional script to patch OS files/resources with these from this mod, since this mod tries to make Windows XP consistent. Some of the tweaks creator did also can be useful for next release.

Some apps and stuff from extras pack could also be added in Extra Goodies ISO. Remember to credit Aurorarion when making next release after upcoming one.

      Ramsey · 12 days ago
@Jakub You did not mention what the actual mods are in this WinXP. All mods are posted anyway on MyDigitalLife.net, MSFN.org and RyanVM.net (old), which WinXP-IE was/is built on.

I see. Gonna upload the RTF file with changes listed to my Google Drive.

      EDIT:

      https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SL3Qgvj5uYqjgxUyxWGbWg47K4lGbfu8/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=100504973878049020296&rtpof=true&sd=true

Here. Also, I'm aware about these 3 websites, but there are also several Discord communities and NeoWin. Could also count BetaArchive, but they stopped accepting topics about doing ISO's long time ago (only posts about modifications are posted).

@Jakub Is a bit weird. Why do you want to revert back to WMP8? And the sound files in Mono are correct because they never had been recorded with stereo sound. And why add an older Windows Messenger version? The Windows Messenger service was discontinued a long time ago by Microsoft. And you don't need to downgrade the Remote Desktop Connection to enable multiple connections.

You should test this ISO and report back if you really feel like something is missing in WinXP-IE.

      @Ramsey
Honestly, it is yeah. And yes, I tested the ISO, I even used it for a while.

Tbh, this mod is mostly consistency changes. XP IE has more usability tweaks. And the downgrades were bcs of the nature of the mod being XP RC/RTM wanna-be (I wanted to focus on other changes). However, I gonna list things that can be implemented:

      - restoration of Address Bar on the taskbar
      - fixing Display Properties not changing Link Select cursor (described on the Readme file)
      - sounds were stereo in b2481 actually, even BetaWiki says so. If you still don't believe, you can try build 2481 and see yourself. So yeah, MS compressed them for no reason in b2485 (title.wma part can be skipped tho as XP-IE doesn't utilize OOBE)
      - non-standard floppy format support (according to the creator, it was done by patching flpydisk.sys)
      - Win16 subsystem patch mentioned in the Readme file
      - restoring Program Manager file from XP SP1 (if you want to use Win3.x UI on XP for some reason, can be put in Extra Goodies eventually)
      - high quality wallpapers from the mod that can be put in Extra Goodies (some are original stock images, some were AI upscaled etc. This can be useful for some replaced ones: https://www.deviantart.com/windowsaesthetics/art/Windows-XP-HD-Wallpaper-Pack-776806652

I think a patcher replacing icons and bitmaps isn't really neccessary honestly. Gonna list stuff that can be added from Extras Pack in seperate comment.

      EDIT:

And now, proposed changes that can be added from the Extras Pack (also some mine personal recommendations):

      - add the rest of Microsoft PowerToys and maybe all Windows Media Bonus Packs to the Extra Goodies
      - add Microsoft ActiveSync, Server 2003 Administration Tools, XP Resource Kit and Active Directory Application Mode to Extra Goodies
      - link Plus! XP and Plus! XP DME to the "Recommended Programs.txt" file
      - add Windows PowerShell, XPS Essentials Pack and Windows Search to Extra Goodies ISO if not done already
      - add all Java JRE and Python releases supported by WinXP to the Extra Goodies ISO
      - add fonts from newer Windows versions and Microsoft Office (I recall this being done already, but not sure, need to re-read readme file)
