    Out of my deepest gratitude to the creators of Windows XP and this website, I am sharing my package of the latest Windows XP supported software that I have handpicked and collected over time. Some applications are password protected ("infected" password) because they contain cracks if you want to try the full versions. Thanks for the updates and keeping the retro scene alive!
    You can download the archive from here for the next 3 days, after that the link will expire -

      @Archer I never installed Windows XP on a USB drive. But @Dietmar has directed me what to add to the "Patch Integrator" for this to work. He tested it on an USB Flash driver but I think that shouldn't be the problem.

    Please make a build based on Server 2003 SP2 32-bit.
    For some reason, chromium browsers have no problems working only on Server 2003 x32 with One Core API 3.0.5. Checked on my Pentium-4 Socket-478
    Although, the sandbox and DRM are still not working.

      @Marcus1292 Seconded!
      I'd love to see a Server 2003 SP2 x86 build, doubly so if it can be made to fit on one CD without leaving any important files out.
      For now, the latest IE build works brilliantly on my PC.

      Hi,
      when you get
      "Found that acpi.sy_ on the pendrive is dated 2008"
      this means, that no working image of XP is on your USB stick.
      Make a try with a real burned CD

      @Dietmar  Thanks, Dietmar.
      Burned the modified iso to a dvd+rw via Imgburn. Booted dvd. setup files copied to ssd partition.First reboot- "windows could not start because the foll. file is missing or corrupt:windows root\system\hal.dll.
      Please re-install a copy of the above file." Tried by rebooting the cd - the whole install process starts over again. Aborted.
      The previous attempt to install with winsetupusb - my working win xp partition has ewf, where some original files in the C partition, are changed (iirc, i had disabled ewf when setting up winsetupusb). So i thought that may be the reason why winsetupusb did not work properly. So i used a laptop having win 10 - to make the xp usb. Still got a similar error as mentioned in my first post (last one but with some changes iirc).

      @Ed Tried a few things like making the first partition the boot partition for (new install) xp in RPM, booting via the dvd/E2B (win folder with iso), etc. I think the main problem is there is no inbuilt basic video driver for my cpu (UHD610) ????. Managed to install win 8.1 x64.

    Ramsey, could you incorporate the following into the upcoming 2024 build please?

    -8k AI upscaled 2001 Bliss wallpaper
    -German Xmas Bliss wallpapers (both Xmas tree and snowman ones.
    -ability to add/remove Device Manager shortcut from My Computer properties.
    -Slipstream a program called "Win2003 v1.46.exe" originally for 2k3 that is good for making the login screen theme/wallpaper match the wallpaper/theme of the desktop
    -add black fast switch logon coloring for the noir theme vs the clashing blue
    -fix chronic studdering startup sound
    -restore to pre-sp2 Windows XP startup screen with "Professional" and "copywriter 1985-2001"

    Hi Ramsey,
    here is a new hal.dll for XP SP3 with a better timer hack from me.
    You can integrate it into the setup xp.iso as halmacpi.dll

      @Dietmar Hello guys! With the new update, do you think that i will be able to install it on my laptop and get past the error 0x7 or whatever that was?
      By the way i have the bios of the laptop as a exe. Would it help you to extract the original ACPI from the bios of my laptop?

      Just an idea

      Hi,
      I compared the very first Bios from 2017 for this HP 255 G6 E2 notebook,
      with the one, that you send to me.
      In this very first Bios are more entries for legacy CSM.
      Even it is crazy for me to extract and to read the Insyde Bios from HP,
      I think, that the most important CSM settings for to boot via MBR are kept,
      so there is hope
