Does this work on any Virtual Machine Programs? For like, I have to use VMWare Workstation or VirtualBox to make it 100% working.

@Yogurt2913 Yes it will work on any of those Virtual Machines.

@Ramsey The only downside is that VMWare Workstation version 17x, after version 15 being the last for XP, had issues installing the Operating System on a Virtual Machine, regarding its slow bad performance while moving around Window Popups. Trying to play around with Popups or the XP UI might lead to lagging and screen tearing issues, including changing the resolution which makes any window much worse. The Operating System is designed to use old ports like VGA or SVGA. For Physical Machines require a Graphics Card to eliminate Bad Performance for Display and HDMI Ports, but not limited to Screen Tearing. XP for some reason is a very old OS known for its limitations. If there's a solution for VMWare, I'm happy to use it including the sound fix. It is recommended to use VirtualBox, or QEMU to make it easy by installing Old OS's, as long that it requires guest tools for virtual video drivers, and then we're good to go.

    Hello Ramsey kb890830(MRT) v5.39
I can find the final version of XP, is it necessary for you?
While both of our UpdatePacks are similar.
Have you seen this message or is there a way to fix it? It's just x64 problem. Message from update.exe, I haven't seen it on x86.

Hi, thanks for all your hard work - this project is amazing!

I've been having a strange ongoing problem with what I believe is .NET Framework 4.0: OS install works fine, drivers are good, and the .NET AIO initially installs fine, too; however, running certain games or certain applications and then trying to run .NET 4 apps causes some kind of corruption that prevents any of them from running. Panda Dome, escan MWAV, and an AutoKMS for Office 2010 Ultimate are all affected by this AFAIK. Trying the WFP utility results in the text-title opening in a cmd window but never loading the menu. The only way to reverse it is with system restore.

Ik this is a vague issue, but has something like this happened before?

@John Doe Never happened before. Are you sure you did a clean installation by formatting your hard disk drive?
    • This commment is unpublished.
@Ramsey I deleted the only previous partition and formatted using the quick option on a nearly new 512GB sata ssd.

@John Doe I didn't had such a problem before. Try to reinstall and only install Panda Dome after a fresh installation without installing anything else.

@Ramsey I appreciate your time! Unfortunately, that didn't work either. I tried a few different troubleshooting steps(Ik it's something wrong with the system as it's not application-specific) and I just can't nail down a culprit. I've worked around it by only using apps that don't utilize 4.0 and everything else has worked great. If it's relevant, a number of orphaned cmd.exe instances pile up in task manager and usually slow or prevent shutdown.

Please Ramsey, PLEASE make an integral version of Windows XP x64.
Bake in all kinds of goodies like you did with XP Integral.
I think  XP x86 is the ultimate in compatibility but XP x64 had one foot in the XP world and one foot in the modern 64 bit world being that its based on Server 2003 and Server 2003 if the base for Windows 7.

@Mad Spaniard Half of the stuff including in this WinXP-x86-IE doesn't exist for WinXP-x64. And everyone that needs a WinXP-x64 should also be able to run Win10/11.

Hello, I would like to learn how can I "backport" drivers from Windows 7 to Windows XP. And I can also help in feature updates.

Has XP Integral reached end of the line updateswise? I suppose most important update for it would be a better browser to keep up with new web site protocols. Thanks.

@Peter There are no new major changes to add. But I think I'll do a little update in the next few weeks so that people don't think it's discontinued.

@acoul I'm sure Mr Ramsey would confirm that unfortunately not. Windows XP IE is the only obsolete operating system maintained.

@acoul He mentioned that if you want 7/8, you can just skip those and go right to 10/11 packs instead.

Hi and thanks for making this available! I made a bootable USB out of the ISO file using WinSetupFromUsb. But when I boot and select option 1 (which is to search for hard disk drivers), it just shows in red: "No matching PCI/IDE found in driverpack.ini file" or something like that. Without that step, normally trying to install the OS gives a BSOD. Any way to resolve this?

@acoul It was not clear to me that you had to patch to create a final iso

    Two mishaps during install.

Firstly, I have one of those multicard readers that preallocates drive letters.
Much to my dismay, my system drive ended up as H:\ instead of C:\.
If you have one of those fuckers plugged into mobo, yank it out before setup.

Secondly, my ethernet NIC(Atheros AR8131) got drivers out of the box, but will not detect cable plugged in.
I had older driver installer lying around, so that solved issue.

    Specs:
    - Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L v2 mobo, 4gb ram, Xeon Quad cpu
    - Windows XP Professional SP3 x86 - Integral Edition 2022.9.9 (Customized Option; 3,4,6,A,B).iso

@Ramsey I tried this on two computers with an old version of Balabolka. The TTS does not work. Selecting speech in the control panel gives an error. For now, I am using a Windows XP CD to repair the TTS function.

@Spence Out of curiosity, what voice do you use and what API? (SAPI4, SAPI5, ???)
I only have SAPI5 + Voice Sam/SAPI5 and it works. But if there's some good (less robotic voices), freely available for the API XP supports, that would be great.

any idea why SDIO & Driver Booster are unable to install any device driver (they fail) & how to overcome, troubleshoot this issue?

@acoul I think you have to ask them why they don't work. I recommended in the ReadMe file the tools Snappy Driver Installer and DriverPack Solution.

      @Ramsey
thank you Ramsey. I did search about this very strange problem of failing to install drivers & their updates. both cases, for SDIO & Driver Booster , they suggest to check the HDD/SSD media health for errors. they also suggest to delete the downloaded drivers and start a clean vanilla driver update process. I had no luck with the above.

trying to do an sfc /scannow I got an 0x000006ba RPC Server is unavailable. I did unlock it (bad idea) according to the guidance of the netland: https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/fix-sfc-error-0x000006ba-rpc-unavailable/

but then I got an error saying that the system files have been altered (I guess Integral magic here) and restoring the original XP SP3 files may cause issues. Here is a picture of this issue: https://ufile.io/2hw3xpuk

@acoul The SFC is turned off by default in WinXP-IE. You have a tool at the "Start Menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Windows File Protection.cmd" to turn SFC on again and to run the SFC Scan.

And if you run an SFC Scan then you should insert the WinXP-IE ISO or else you will get errors, because some outdated and unneeded components were removed from WinXP-IE.

I'm also suggesting you search for the driver by hand, because this tools are not always working like they should. And like i said if you use this kind of tools then use the ones suggested in the ReadMe file and in the previous comment.

Drivers are essential Ramsey indeed. trying to find drivers by hand is not an easy task now days, especially for XP. My experience with DriverPack Solution, url link does not work for me, front end is not pleasant as also described on the video presentation over at majorgeeks. if I am not mistaken, Snappy Driver Installer is also based on the DriverPack packages.

when DriverPack packages can't find a driver, it's good to have an alternative. that's why I use Driver Booster.

Searching at the Snappy Driver Installer site I found SamDrivers. Snappy Driver Installer last changelog entry is back in 2017. I use Snappy Driver Installer Origin, that is regularly maintained from the author of the original code. any feedback on this is always welcomed
