    I am currently on windows 11. Is it possible to create a partition for this windows xp and install it there and use easybcd for dualbooting afterwards
    • This commment is unpublished.
      infuscomus · 3 years ago
      @xplegacyfan
      This is possible, but the XP installer is going to overwrite the boot sector with NTLDR so you'll need to run /fixboot and fixmbr off of the windows 11 install media to restore it to working order.

      It's doable though, just a pain.

      @infuscomus I have installed XP integral but now I can not access the W7 partition.
      I fixed this with the W7 ISO (boot up repair) but when I do this it's the XP partition that becomes unusable..
      how can  work this out ? I have no problems with other XP ISO's

      Yes, I know that if I turn off one of the drives when I install Windows this problem would not exist but I don't want to plug and pull the power supply cables back and forth

      @Nescafé are you trying to have XP and 7 dual boot off of partitions on the same drive? or 2 separate drives?

      @infuscomus You can also try this tool for dual boot repairs. Ive had some success with it on the many dual boot systems I have. https://www.boyans.net/dual-boot-repair-windows-10.html

      @Vannura I tried it on a separate Windows XP and Windows 11 with FireFox, Edge and MyPal. And I did not run into any problems. Try to delete you browser cache and see if that fixes your problem.

    I can't seem to download the torrent. I added the magnet to my client, but the torrent's metadata (size, files, etc.) never load and the download never begins. I'm downloading and seeding other torrents fine, so I doubt it is my client. I tried another client and it was able to download the metadata but also never starts downloading.
    Is there a .torrent file available? I don't know if that would help, but it should at least fix the metadata problem.

      @Anonymous Well that's strange, because is see completed seeders.
      Below are all the torrent files for the new releases. Let me know if that helped.

      @Ramsey Many thanks for your help Mr Ramsey. Unfortunately, I'm seeing; 'Invalid or corrupt torrent file(s)'.

      @The Fugitive
      I installed 'Transmission' now myself and i got the same errors as you. After a bit of testing I found out that 'Transmission' doesn't support the torrent version 2 or the Hybrid function. After recreating the torrent in version 1 then the problems were gone.
      This here also conforms my testing: http://github.com/transmission/transmission/issues/458

      You should use the qBittorrent that I linked next to the Hash download link. That one works on Windows/Linux/MacOS and is always Up-to-Date with the newest torrent standards.

    Hi Ramsey, I'm using your Windows XP, but the SSD seems to be trying to stop working.
    Is there anything better than MS drivers?

      @MilkChan I don't see any error counts on that image you posted. what problems are you having?

      @infuscomus I have decided to uninstall Windows XP. I have installed Windows 10 again. It's a problem. Reading stornvme drive discs.
      And it's the model I'm using, SSD NVME.

    Hi,

    I downloaded the file and used the Optional Integrator to choose my settings. But then, I run into this. I wonder how I should tackle this. I have a GPT Hard Drive that I want to install this on. I am also wondering if this installation will format the hard drive. I don't want that since I have files there. I made a little partition/local disk of 100gb to install XP. I installed 11 recently on a small partition too, but obviously XP is a totally different thing to deal with. My idea is to be able to boot to these different windows straight from my hard drives, without needing a USB to boot.kle.

      @Nyan
      GPT is a new drive partitioning method supported by newer versions of windows
      Windows 10 uses GPT by default on newer hardware.

      Best way around this problem for you would be to buy a separate SSD and dedicate it entirely to XP. XP setup will format it as MBR and will work.

    Does anyone know any other browser's that work with whatapp web? So far I've been using Mypal and 360 Explorer.

      Ramsey · 3 years ago
      @Alex You could try Maxthon 5, it was one of the last browsers that supported Windows XP.

      @Ramsey Hi Ramsey,
      I just test the Maxthon 5 browser in XP.
      It makes use of Multiprocessors and of course needs a lot of ram for this.
      But this is really a nice browser. I never heard before of it. Maybe, that multiprocessors can be also set via config:about to single processor.
      I do not find any mistake or crash of it under XP SP3.

      And it can really open any webpage, movie etc.. without errors

      @Dietmar But I cant registrate with this browser Maxthon 5 at google.com.
      Google tells something about not supported browser/not enabled Javascript

      Ramsey · 3 years ago
      @Dietmar What i know is that Maxthon 5 has full Windows XP support and that it is a mix of Internet Explorer with Chrome engine.

      If you have JavScript problems then make sure the "Active Scripting" is enabled at: Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Internet Connections -> Security.

      But even if you enable JavaScript, google will still block you because of the old browser version number in the User Agent.

    Is it possible to install on an x570 motherboard?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      infuscomus · 3 years ago
      @GSX Sure it'll work, but you'll need to use the Optional Patch Integrator to integrate the drivers needed for newer hardware.
