I installed and older version of "*Xp Integral Edition", and I remember there was an extraction *.cmd operation to do in separate folder to include, or not, some patches, fixes or tools, now I even don't find a readme in "Information folder" which could explain this... that's because the iso inside is ready to install? but the other content folders what reason to be there, apart? I was even searching for an archive link to download old versions just to compare what is "missing" (for my knowledge) here... Thanks for the attention. Regards...

@Sebastiano That "*.cmd" file is now in the "Patch Integrator v*" folder. And the Extra folder is for the stuff that's not included in the ISO file because most user won't need it.

    Quick question:
Which of the AHCI Drivers is "the best"? The MovAX driver or in my case the AMD driver?

@Aphelion whichever works correctly for your hardware. If one doesn't work try the other.

@Ed This could also be a SATA driver problem. Try the different backported SATA drivers.

Greetings to all.  I have a Dell Precision M6600 laptop that i want to install XP on.  I've not been able to successfully integrate the SATA/AHCI drivers into the slipstream discs that I've made in my attempts to install Windows XP and I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly.  I am hoping that this version of XP will accomplish what I want to do but I'm wondering if I will still need to slip stream the drivers?   I see that there is a help file that has information on how to integrate the SATA/AHCI drivers.  Is there a way to view the help file to see how that is done or maybe someone can tell me how it works?

Hi Ramsey, I have a question I'd like to ask you.
How do you write INF Update in winxpup.inf?
Yours that saves time or not, such as having various tools
    I'm a newbie in programming.
I'm trying to add it to the 5eraph Update Packs, but I don't know what to do.
    Prevent SFC Error
Both inspection BuildCheckSum and BuildDate too.

    • This commment is unpublished.
@MilkChan You have to do that all manually.
      1. Extract the update with the command "KBXXXXXX.exe" /x
      2. Copy the files from the "SP3QFE" folder to the main UpdatePack folder.
      3. Copy the "KBXXXXXX.CAT" file into the UpdatePack "SVCPACK" folder.
      4. Check the "update_SP3QFE.inf" file if the update adds extra registry keys or use the Registry Changes View tool.
      5. Install the Update and get the BuildCheckSum and the BuildDate from the Registry Key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Windows XP\".
      6. Make the necessary changes in the UpdatePack "ENTRIES*.ini" file and in the main "*.inf" file.

I migrated you 3 posts into one, you can always edit you posts if you forgot to add something.

@Ramsey I appreciate your advice, I updated the file of 5eraph, removed the old patch, it's a difficult task but I like it.

That comes back to you, the only problem is that now the x64 version of the system is trying to validate the INF.
I've tested with SFC turned off, it destroys more than the system won't copy files.

How do I solve this problem? (The problem does not occur with Server 2003 x64)

Update Packs This is the part I am responsible for in the XP2ESD project.

@MilkChan Looks like an KB*.CAT file is missing in the SVCPACK folder that signs an INF file from an KB update that you included.

@Ramsey There seems to be no missing .cat file.

Guys, i was really impressed about your work on this Windows XP Intergral Edition 6/2022!!
    I t is awesome!
For near 20 years ago i was a happy Windows XP user and today was interested in that how good a eventually modded Windows XP works on a newer PC in 2022. So i found this website. I can only say WOWW!! Throwing my cap down, and become euphoric in remember the time i have spent in this OS for a long time ago.
I have successfully installed it on my older PC with ABIT-IP95 motherboard and Intel(R) Core(R) Duo E4600 CPU with 2,4 GHz which is combined with 3 Gigs of DDR2 RAM. The install was a little tricky because of confusion during the install process what the additional drivers mean, but at last i have figured it out.
After installation i have stuck with the drivers for my wireless keyboard mouse combo, but after uninstalling all USB devices and reinstall it again, it works fine. I also had to install the VIA 4in1 driver pack for WinXP for this motherboard and the correct driver for my ATi Radeon X700 graphics adapter, but after that, all the drivers are in place, an the whole system works perfect! I cannot believe it! :-D
And how fast Windows XP runs on this PC system! In this point all the other (newer) Windows variants and also new Linux distributions can pack the stuff and go away.
So many thanks for the builders behind this great workout and let us enthusiasts know when there are "News" or "Good Software mods" for Windows XP Integral Edition. 😉😀

      @Martino Contento
Version 49.0.2623.112 works fine for me.
And I thing you better of using "360 Extreme Explorer" that is included in the Extra Folder.

@BokeeXD Try uninstalling the USB root hubs. After a restart they will reinstall/realign and you may find you then have sound. Works for me!
