If you're getting a BSOD post a screenshot of it, it'll help identify the problem.

There are  many types of  FORMATTING

    Like slow and  fast  ...

Hard reset and soft reset  ...

Explain to me about the difference between  them

           .._-
    • This commment is unpublished.
@Grissa 1. Slow format means, overwrite everything and fast means, flag the files to be overwritten.
      2. Soft rest will turn of the computer normally and hard reset will force restart it, like pulling the plug.

Hello, I do not find the txtsetup.sif... I want to charge sata specific driver in old pc's  with an usb floppy drive, though your o.s. has some general sata driver). The standard xp txtsetup.sif has only 3 usb floppy devices available to be recognized... May you say or do something about in the future? Thanks for the attention...

That is to say if you may add a general usb floppy driver to be recognized IN THE SETUP SATA CHARGING DRIVER.... (F6 procedure)

@Sebastiano You have to remove the included DriverPacks with the "Optional Patch Integrator" script before using the F6 option.

@Ramsey Thanks, Mr Ramsey, and, however no hope to have usb floppy drive to be recognized on F6 sata charge driver. I hope to found specific mb (MSI B75MA and even Asrock Z170 Extreme4) sata driver in the Driver Packs. Thanks, for now.

@Sebastiano I'd imagine you'd need to use the USB 3.0 driver for USB floppy to work given your motherboard.
I don't see why you would need to use USB floppy in this case though.

what driver are you trying to install?

Thank you so much for doing this. I really appreciate it. This allows me to run old stuff on my new stuff.

Hi, how do you install this? I tried using rufus 2.18 to create a bootable USB using the ISO. It won't boot. It says "BOOTMGR is missing". I might be doing it incorrectly.

@Kirp Rufus is not the best choice for Windows XP that's why it's written in the ReadMe file to use WinToFlash.

Is it possible to use your version of XP and install it on a tablet pc? Or would I have to install the Tablet PC edition instead? I got an old Toshiba M750 with a swivel tablet screen that I would like to use to draw on.

@An_Exotic_Bird I never tested it but I don't see why it should not work.

@Ramsey Is it also possible to change the license key during the initial installation? I'm trying to see if I can manually add the files from a Tablet PC Edition iso into your's and then use the tablet pc key during the install so that the necessary software for the touchscreen is installed. I got the idea from this website: http://rmprepusb.blogspot.com/2014/02/add-tablet-pc-and-media-centre-edition.html

I just want to use your Windows XP ISO that has all of the modern features with the Tablet PC Edition specific software and whatnot.

@An_Exotic_Bird I don't think a Tablet Key will work on a Professional version.
But you can try this out with VirtualBox.

would you be willing to forego the 700mb size constraint for your XP ISO (or make an alt larger version) and go for a 4.7GB DVD size?
you could fit extra programs for your XP Integral Edition that way.
    • This commment is unpublished.
@infuscomus That would be a problem for old computers that only have a CD-ROM.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      @Ramsey Hi,
from some "modern" z690 computers you cant boot from CD rom now.
So I would agree with @infuscomus
to give up the CD size of 700 MB
      Dietmar

PS: If you have enough time, power and mood😍,
you can make 2 XP editions: One <700 MB and other without limit.

Most users will use it on old PC's. So making the ISO file over 700MB would no be a good idea.
That's why I added a folder named "Extras" into the Zip-Archive file.

@Ramsey you can make 2 XP editions: One <700 MB and other without limit.
      ^
This is a good idea, could you do this Ramsey?

If not, can you add things like voidtools search everything and Basilisk browser to the Extras folder in the next release?

Was assisting a student remotely with an online English exam at University level. English is not their first language. TeamViewer installed on both our laptops. Although I could view their screen and cursor moving the student insisted she couldn't give me control. Is there some security feature that prevents (or logs) you taking control?
