Is there a way to get sandboxie working on this? Looks like an update released after 30 October 2017 that patched the kernel probably broke it.

@asmbubba Windows XP is supported up to Sandboxie version 5.22. Any beta/stable versions after Sandboxie 5.22 will not work on XP.

@Ramsey I'm using version 5.22. When running anything sandboxed an error occurs complaining that it can't find the user profile directory. That error has occurred in the past when windows updated the kernel. It would be fixed with the next version of sandboxie. Because version 5.22 was released on 30 October 2017 I'm guessing there is some update released after that date that modified the kernel and is included with this iso thus breaking sandboxie. I'm kinda guessing at all this. All I know is that on a fresh install of this iso sandboxie 5.22 is inop.

@asmbubba You should post this in the Sandboxie forum so it can be fixed for the last Windows XP Kernel updates. KB4463103 (October 9, 2018) + KB4486463 (February 12, 2019):

@Ramsey XP is unsupported now unfortunately. They have dropped the licensing and are supposed to be converting it to an open source project. They even refuse to do something as simple as re-release 5.22 with the licensing component removed. Whenever its open source someone will probably make another XP version.

@Ramsey impi was correct about it asking for user & pw regardless if formatted. There was a symbol in the user name that appeared which obviously i removed then i used scorp as name then signed in however it failed as i hadn't set a name etc. Came here & by that time the screen had reset & Admin appeared in the user name, so hit enter & desktop appeared. I guess there's a code issue there or something. There's another issue & far more serious . If you have this installed what's the top line say in your hosts file say. I need to run this in a vm to confirm it

@i think not I never had sure a problem. I don't even know how i could replicate it.
And in the hosts file is only "127.0.0.0 localhost", and everything else is commented out with '#'.

@Ramsey It's fine in a vm & works as you'd expect. I'm re-installing it on the spare pc as it appears there may have been an issue with a connected usb drive or the slave. The reason i mentioned hosts file is that it had a line at the top that shouldn't be there & is a redirect using chupra thingy. However i recognized it from a few years ago & is caused by a virus/malware that comes from usb drives. So it appears one of my dam drives has an infection lol. It may explain the login issue or not. If the xp works on the pc as it does on the vm then i'm real happy with it. If your the one that made the iso then well done, maybe i should learn to code too hahha. While i've got you here maybe take a look at adding powertoy tweakui, & xdntweaker (the latter works on win 7 as well & does a bit more than tweakui) in future versions

https://msfn.org/board/topic/175170-root-certificates-and-revoked-certificates-for-windows-xp/page/23/?tab=comments#comment-1172773 - might be worth to update the root and revoked certs in next integral edition release. Some subsets of the root certificates (updroots.sst. authroots.sst) have been updated in oct 29 2019, the delroots.sst subset and the revoked cert set in aug, and roots.sst subset in july 23

Ramsey I've encountered some problems with your last version of XP Integral. I had to revert back to the previous one done in June 2019 which is error free.

The August Integral version 2019 causes a missing PC bus and audio driver failure. The RealTek 2.0 audio drivers fail to install at all in my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I've no idea why this is happening! I installed it twice to confirm these errors.

@Mark Strange, Not many things have changed between this versions.
Try to execute this file below after the June.2019 installation and check if you run into the same problem.

@Ramsey Thanks for this Ramsey. What Im going to do as I have the June release installed running smoothly, is wait for your next integral release(I think in the Blog you recently mention that a later Nov release will have little differences) and see how that installs. If I encounter any issues I will right click the reg entries you kindly gave as attachment and see how it goes from there.

By the way were there any NetFramework changes from June version until August 2019? When I watched the Framework install for June it went from 4.0 downwards, but I saw 4.5 Net Framework flash up in the August version installer. I surmised it could have been this 4.5 which caused my issues for last Integral version. Thanks again for your help.

@Akhlaq Ahmed Hey, man! I'm also impatient for the November updates but it ain't cool to ask a dev to rush a release. It ain't "kind" at all. The updates & mods needs to be tested out thoroughly, not swiftly. I don't want a shoddy build of Windows, only to have compatibility problems & bugs issue & wait for the next fixed build then reinstall Windows & other software all over again. Do you?

Here is a test version which dose not include the SSE2 updates. Everyone that has a CPU which doesn't support SSE2 should try this one out and report back if it works. Then i can work on a All-in-One version.

Hey, I keep getting stuck at the end of the installation at the ''Registering components'' step. I have searched it online and I have unplugged everything from the computer except for a USB keyboard (that came with this computer) and an old BenQ VGA monitor of the same era as this PC (CPU Athlon 1800+, 2x256MB PC-2100 RAM). I have read that it may be do to old drivers having issues with the ones that XP is trying to install. I have previously installed multiple versions of PuppyLinux, but I have wiped the HDD multiple times. Does it have to do with data stored on the motherboard? Have you ever heard of that happening? What should I do?
