If I install 2019-06-15 version, I have HD Audio devices in Device Manager and I can install the appropriate driver. However, if I install the last two versions, there are no HD Audio Devices in Device Manager, so the driver cannot be installed and there is no sound. Please check what could be changed between these versions which makes unrecognised motherboard audio devices. Thanks.

@Ramsey Was a DriverPack Chipset embedded in June 2019 version? I don't find it.

@Z87-Q170 It was only included in the WinXP-IE v2020.3.15 that's why i suspect that one.

@Ramsey I've installed the latest version deselecting DriverPacks. There is no HD Audio Device in Device Manager. This is logical, because this was the case also with the January version. Let me remind please that in June 2019 version everything was OK.

This version does not recognise Intel SATA RAID volumes. It did not install the LAN drivers for Intel I210/I219 Ethernet controllers. In the previous version Intel RAID and I210 were supported. There is no audio in both versions (Realtek ALC1150/ALC887).

      Ramsey · 5 years ago
@Z87-Q170 The Generic SATA/AHCI dose not support RAID but after the installation did it not install the Intel SATA driver back? And did you installed the Realtek sound driver for Windows XP.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Z87-Q170 · 5 years ago
@Ramsey I wanted to install it to a RAID volume, just like in previous versions. The driver packs are still in the ISO, but the mass storage drivers apparently are not used. And what about the LAN driver for I210? Thanks.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 5 years ago
@Z87-Q170 The DriverPacks BASE MassStorage is not integrated anymore at the installation stage because the Generic SATA/AHCI works on more SATA controllers. If you want RAID mode at the Windows XP installation stage then you need to slipstream your RAID driver with nLite into Windows XP (Tutorial in ReadMe file).

@Ramsey Why did you add mass storage drivers not used during the installation? Also, please try to find the reason for the LAN driver issue with I210. With January version it has been installed, but not now.

So I recently switched to SSD & installed this WinXP-IE but of course this OS doesn't cum with TRIM software, so can anybody recommend me a good TRIM software that works on XP. Or maybe like a top 5 list? Thanks in advance.

@Fisherman Interesting. Since it is a IDE computer i think this is related to the ACPI Patch you could try and replace the ACPI.SY_ file in the ISO file with the original one i uploaded, by doing this:
      1. Use 7-Zip to extract the ISO file into an empty folder ( www.7-zip.org ).
      2. Replace the ACPI.SY_ file in the Zip-Archive file below into the extracted ISO folder "I386".
      3. Use nLite to create a new Bootable ISO again ( www.nliteos.com/download.html ).
      Files attached:

      @Ramsey Alternatively there's a slightly newer variant of an acpi.sys mod - Dietmar's "outer-space" one: https://www73.zippyshare.com/v/cQrYtEII/file.html
if Fisherman has tested it with original acpi.sys and it worked, would be fine to make sure it would work with this alternative to daniel_k's acpi.sys

@Fisherman Yes you can replace the files directly on the bootable USB Flash drive. ;)

Ramsey, have you had a chance to try out daniel_k's USB 3.0 drivers?
he removed them but i still have a copy
also, I have more recent modded acpi.sys (dated nov 2 2019) if you want it.

Apologies Rei. I was replying to the other- the serial update requester who needs a bit of therapy. Only joking Ahmed! I Pressed the wrong button. Your Momma had a senior moment!

Hello, the Windows XP search is very slow! Please integrate the "Search Everything" app.
Search Everything is a desktop search utility for Windows that can rapidly find files and folders by name.
    Download it from https://voidtools.com/downloads/
    Thanks <3

@Muhammadhussein Ammari Slow? You problem never used Windows Vista/7/8/10. (giggle)

I think programs like this are not essential to be directly included.

@Ramsey Are you using this app? I suggest you try it.
It searches all files in less than a second.

@Muhammadhussein Ammari If you're mentioning it & you're here, then you are capable of installing it on your own without needing to be added to the ISO installer. It's not an essential program for most other people. Besides, software like these tends to rely on caching solution which takes up space or indexing system in which case just use the indexing service.

@Muhammadhussein Ammari use "UltraSearch" it's faster than windows and any other search tool
