    Maxthon browser is better than the Basilisk browser.
    Please remove the Basilisk browser and pre-install the Maxthon browser on Windows XP.

      @Amir Ammari I disagree, I didn't like it. I prefer basilisk.
      I do like also vivaldi browser because i can have the classic horizontal menubar like in basilisk, it also has a dark theme.
      Last version that supports XP - https://www.filehorse.com/download-vivaldi-32/25368/

      @Amir Ammari I will see if i can add Maxthon. The auto update option is a big plus. But the question is for how long will they still support Windows XP.
      EDIT:
      I'm not sure if i can add Maxthon because it will exceed the 700 MB Disc limit. I will see what i can do.

      @Ramsey can you keep basilisk included? or do you have to remove it?

      >no hard arguments against basilisk and in favor of maxthon

      Gee, sounds like shilling to me! I for one support a community XP-compatible fork of a browser made by just one developer who does it in his FREE time more than a yet another corporate soulless chinese browser that is proven to have data security issues: https://www.securityweek.com/maxthon-browser-sends-sensitive-data-china

      @Ramsey I did everything as it was in readme file as you said (as I regularly use winsetupf.....b) and I think SATA drivers are not included in your iso file.
      Ok, I will try including those also.

      Is there any problem if I left [BOOT] folder in the extracted folder and make a USB as it is?
      Thanks for very quick .........
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 5 years ago
      @Rahul You can keep or delete the [BOOT] folder it doesn't matter.
      Before including your own SATA driver don't forget to run the file "DriverPacks BASE Remover v*" to remove all the extra include SATA drivers to avoid any conflicts.

      Guest16346 · 5 years ago
      @Rahul First of all, check the hash integrity of the downloaded ISO (SHA1: ac41af4757e877765b1f92dac62c0e18689cbbd7).
      Second of all, if you have exactly tried the instructions for flashing the ISO to the USB flashdrive via WinSetupFromUSB and yet it doesn't work, try using an alternate tool like Rufus to flash the ISO image.

      I kind of doubt it's a problem with lack of appropriate slipstreamed SATA/AHCI drivers for your controller, since had it been like this you wouldn't be able to finish the 1st stage text-mode setup (no detected hard drives due to no drivers for the ahci controller).

      Rahul · 5 years ago
      @Ramsey Okay, I won't forget to run that file and after after that I'll include SATA drivers and further process
      Thank you :)

      @Guest16346 Ok, I'll check SHA1
      I'll try with Rufus also once

      1st stage text mode is all running good and finished successfully and it showed HDD and partitions also
      After rebooting on its own for second stage, it is showing that error.
      Thanks

    Is there Win XP Professional SP3 64 bit edition possible here.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 5 years ago
      @Rahul No. Someone things are not available for Windows XP 64-bit and if you more then 4 GB of RAM then it's also better to use Windows 10 64-bit.

      @Ramsey Thanks for a very quick reply.
      Please tell me about the below
      1. Better if possible, you can make a combined 32 bit and 64 bit versions of "Win 7 Ultimate SP1 Integral Edition" into a single iso file.
      2. If possible make a combined 32 bit and 64 bit versions of "Win 10 Integral Edition" into a single iso file.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Rei · 5 years ago
      @Rahul While it is possible to combine both installer into a single iso, it is unlikely to happen. Not only will having 2 installers complicate boot installation procedures, it is also redundant as well. People normally just install a single OS on their system & that is the usually the target user.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Rei · 5 years ago
      @Rahul Also, 64-bit WinXP only exist up to SP2, although technically, 32-bit WinXP SP3 is 64-bit WinXP SP2 in terms of updated content.
      I do wish Ramsey would release an Intergral Edition of WinXP 64-bit so I can use that one & finally get rid of Win10 off all my computers.

      @Rei If you don't like to use Windows 10 for some reason then you should take a look at Pop!_OS (Linux).

      Ramsey · 5 years ago
      @Rei Yes it is. But then it will not fit on a DVD disc anymore and on some old 32-bit Computer the setup installation will not boot up.

    Hey man, thanks for the effort, but it's a little bit suspicious that you've left all the remote access ports open (RasMan, etc, etc,); I mean, Microsoft has given advice on these all the way back in 2006. What's the idea in that? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/securityadvisories/2006/921923 Otherwise, it's a nice image, so thanks for that! Although, I would appreciate a version where you'd have all the bells&whistles as for the OS upgrades, but you could minimize everything (themes, no internet connection, nothing) somehow more easily. With this build on a VM, I'm also having the trouble of my settings getting reverted every time I boot. Something in the startup programs? Sure hope this ain't just a honeypot trap. Wouldn't know, haven't tried out yer images before! Thanks.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 5 years ago
      @O.G. M$ M.F. You should not close ports. You should disable the services that you don't need.
      And if your settings are getting reverted, then you messed something up with your Virtual Machine.
      The main goal for this Windows was to have a full functional Operating System with all the essential stuff. So the opposite of a FrankenStein OS. (bomb)

      @Ramsey So I tried it out -

      It seems like it's collected all the critical updates ever done for XP and built an updater ISO with it (about 2GB in size)
      very handy, I can just use this ISO to update any of my XP installs in the future.

      @infuscomus Windows XP SP3 has +/- 300 Updates. The WinXP-IE Disc/ISO folder "I386\SVCPACK" has a list of those Updates.

    Thought to share this unique PAE patcher recently made by daniel_k (same guy from the modded creative audio drivers) - https://www.win-raid.com/t4035f45-Windows-XP-Bit-and-Server-Bit-on-Modern-Hardware-204.html#msg94129

    Unlike other PAE patchers, it also has an option enabling PAE, but also limiting the RAM to 4 gigs (should be no conflicts with drivers). This results in more efficient RAM mapping, thus more RAM is available. By the way, no need for the /PAE switch to be added in boot.ini, since it will work like on Server 2003.

      @Ramsey Why not include the PAE patch with the November update as well?

      @Rei Because it will cause BSoD with some drivers.

      @Ramsey Got it. Then I presume that this is gonna be a long test run? It's fine anway. I'm just looking forward to the USB3 drivers on WinXP.

      @Matt There are no additional WLAN drivers in this build, when it comes to drivers there are only LAN and AHCI drivers integrated. You have to look it up yourself.

      @Grissa (Assuming you speak French and your English abilities are less than great I recommend you to use DeepL when relying on translating text from French to English), what laptop or PC (specify mobo) are you installing XP Integral Edition on?

    Hi on your next XP release if there is an update, could you add more Themes? I have seen some really good ones out there including a windows 7 or windows 10 looking theme. Thanks.
