* All the Windows 11 Language Packs can be downloaded directly from the Language Settings Menu at: "Settings -> Time & Language -> Language -> Add a language".
* This Windows 11 was not in Audit-Mode and was compiled with the Microsoft DISM tool and is based on the Windows 11 26100.1 en-US x64 source files.
* All the included extras can be modified or removed in the ISO/Disc folder ".\sources\$OEM$" (Removing the $OEM$ folder will also remove the update #1 and #3).

(#) How to do a fresh Windows 11 installation:

2. Do a BACKUP of your important files on a separate storage drive.
3. To avoid accidentally creating a Windows 11 Online Account or running into the Account bug (Other user), disconnect your Computer from the Internet before installing.
4. At the Windows 11 Setup menu select "Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)".
5. Delete all the old Windows Partitions and then click on install (Be very careful to select the correct hard disk drive).

    Ramsey - Slightly OT,
    It could be very useful to have Integral Editions of Win7 and Win8.1 x64.
    Especially the latter, as Deskmodder's ESU bypass patch is available to Win7
    but there is no ESU for Win 8.1, however there should be an upcoming ESU option for Windows Server 2012 R2 - which can be thought of as a Server Version of Win 8.1, What do you think about this, Ramsey?

      @Ramsey How much money do you want to create an 'enhanced' version of Windows 7? It is INFINITELY superior to Windows 11 in a ton of ways, which U certainly already know, but R unwilling 2 say 4 whatever 'latest greatest' cult reasons (like Apple users love 2 ignore faults =)) 4 instance, even basic things like navigating menus is closely spaced & dense rather than the absurd bull$hit 'tablet interface' nonsense of the NOT 4 desktop Windows HATE (8) /10/11 nonsense toy interface.

      As 4 'usability' XP is way better than N E thing after, especially with the 'classic' theme. Micro$hit broke 'Explorer' ever since Vista on forward, like the absurd 'indirect' feel of enclosing objects (even after disabling 'full row select') & the absurdly anti-user 'auto-sort by default' krap that mixes in 'unzipped' items by date to folders rather than at the end so we can quickly identify & delete them if desired. U R a bit of a comedian, saying 'No point using 7' = kind of like somebody saying 'no point eating pizza for lunch when U can eat dog $hit' = LOL =)) BTW: Here R a few things that would help a lot 4 Windows 11 U could do (4 a fee? =) iCan pay U? =D ~>

      ~ PERMANENTLY disable ALL updates by default, as well as permanent 'activation', so it will work FOREVER, exactly as it did on first install = not auto-self-sabotage or 'expired' nonsense. U can include a 'button' or something like a 'tool' 2 re-enable them if (if if IF) user decides 2 'click' it back 'on', & never 'auto'. Yes iTried your 11 & as soon as iDid it self-destroyed INSTANTLY in several ways, which R not relevant here as it's totally unusable & completely pointless unless can be PERMANENTLY disabled =)

      ~ Disable 'auto-sorting' in the file manager, so when unzipping (or moving items) they appear at the end of the list of contents, by default, never auto-mixed with the others (which makes them hard 2 find = they broke it on purpose, & is 1 of the main reasons windows 11 is UNUSABLE 4 N E sort of real work).

      ~ Disable every unnecessary service by default (with maybe a 'template' 2 re-enable them if desired, through something like 'pserv.cpl'? ~>

      Note: In my XP systems (which is the main OS I use, because everything after that is absolute krap) the only things running R ~>

      1) DHCP Client = internet
      2) Event Log = just 2 avoid 'shut down hanging' (bug)
      3) Plug And Play = Audio
      4) Windows Audio = as above
      5) Remote Procedure Call (RPC) = runs 'everything' (pretty much =)

      = Nothing else is really ever needed. Sometimes a random thing like 'DCOM Process Server Process Launcher' R helpful like if U want 2 use Windows built-in disk manager utility, but there R plenty of 3'rd party apps that don't need that krap. It wood alzo B GR8 if U could fix the 'event log' bug so never need it running & won't create the 'shutdown hang' just because that $hit is turned off = totally pointless.

      ~ Install a dark 'retro' (infinitely superior) skin/desktop/layout by default, so it looks & operates like Windows '95, which is the best interface of any OS, by far, & no need to ever change it. Those of us who use computers for doing actual work & not just 'dik around' want things that are intuitive & quick & E Z 2 use =) With the 'frame' style design with clear '3D edges' it's far better than all the 'flat' or 'jelly bean' bull$hit that came after.       Note: The ONLY reason ANYBODY would EVER actually 'want' 2 use Windows 11 (or anything after XP) is for 'program compatibility'. EVERYTHING else about the OS is INFINITELY worse. The ideal situation is to have 'Windows '98 but able 2 run other programs through DLL folders' (or whatever) =) iOnly say '98' instead of '95' because '98' has a better 'configuration' menu layout.       @Ramsey BTW: The ideal thing U could do (??) is make a version of Windows '98 that is modified 2 enable running software written 2 run on XP, 7, 11, etc. = kind of like how 'WINE' uses 'libraries'?  People could just dump all the 'installed OS files' into some extra 'directories' & swap the 'kernel' in different 'sand box' areas 2 run the different programs in isolated threads 'natively'?  & user could switch on & off different hardware so can also run 'direct X' & whatever 'driver support' native 2 the other OSes?  I'm thinking of getting into 'Zorin' OS & others 2 try & approximate this, but iKnow from experience 'emulation' is always so much slower =P  There is a version of XP with some add ons 2 enable XP stuff iHear about = Think maybe something like 'KernelEx' but for extending it so can run things written 4 Windows Vista or later (7, H8, 11, etc.) ~>

      Unfortunately there is no ESU (nor an ESU patch) for Win 8.1 - unlike Win7. There should be an ESU option for Windows Server 2012 R2 coming up. Maybe these updates could be re-purposed for Win 8.1 installations as well ?
      For "gaming oriented" Desktop OS, Win XP is the "first" one to really introduce pre-emptive Multitasking. All versions b4 employed "cooperative multitasking" (Win 95, Win 98SE, Win ME). So from a Software Architecture point of view, I would not go back to anything before WinXP.

      @Dood McMan I really liked Win 8.1 - By changing the UI to the "Classic Desktop shell" project, it had a look & feel like Win7. And it was nicely supported by M$ with security patches. Such tweaked Win 8.1 desktop clients could run most application software, even exotic ones. And it used to be much more stable than Win 7 from what I learned ...

      With the Home version this bypass won't work.
      But you can try at the Account menu to press "Shift + F10" and write "OOBE\BYPASSNRO" in the box and press enter, and see if you then can create an Offline Account with the Home Edition after the restart.
      You can also try and execute this comment below before doing an upgrade.

      @Alan carr If you on Windows 11 22H2 then you don't need to do an upgrade and will get the 23H2 update over the Windows Update Center in a few weeks.
      If you're not on Windows 11 22H2 then mount the ISO file and do an upgrade by selecting the option "Keep personal files and apps" in the upgrade menu.

      @Alan carr For this we have to see in a few weeks if Microsoft blocks this update for unsupported hardware.
      There should be also a manual excitable update file, but for now Microsoft did not yet release a KB5027397 version 2355 (RTM).

      @Muhammadhussein Ammari No PotPlayer is not better that MPC (K-Lite).
      For example if you have an HDR display, MPC + madVR will automatically passthrough the HDR signal to you display without the need to have HDR enabled in Windows which mess up non-HDR content.

      @Ramsey PotPlayer is a bit faster (when tweaked out) than MPC-HC.  The defaults in PotPlayer R worse, but there R tutorials on it, + trial & error helps get the best setup =)  Ideally somebody should merge PotPlayer with MPC-HC & FFDShow & AC3Filter functions, & fix some of the bugs like the absurd useless EQ that just distorts/clips everything if U 'boost' = lame.  iCan help a lot with this & happy 2 pay.  MPC is based in my ideas (yes, like 20 years ago, when I was back in Lost Angeles & searching 4 programmers online 2 duet =)  The original guy got annoyed when Asians started $tealing bits of it without giving him credit, so dumped it.  After the French guys picked it up they eventually got into trying 2 'kill' it so they could roll it into overpriced 'hardware-based solutions' that R really just PCs running FFDShow type stuff with it in much worse configurations than iHav ~>

      @Ramsey BTW: Another GR8 thing about 'PotPlayer' is they offer XP-able versions that support AV1, while MPC-HC versions 4 XP currently don't =(  Not 2 imply AV1 is worth it, as VP9 iz tha bezt =)  Reminds me how MP3 is better than Vorbis (blurry) or AAC (harsh = 'simulated' highs after deletion LOL) or Opus (harsh = aliasing distortion).  As long as your bit rate isn't super low MP3 is more natural, same as VP9 vs AV1, which has more banding & other problems.  It's a shame (& such a $kam) 2 $pend all those years & bazillion 'man hours' on krap that looks worse than VP9 =P  'VP94Ever'? =))  It's like people makign fun of MPEG2 = if the bit rate is high enough it looks 'fine' = no worse than N E other format.  It's way more blocky than VP9 though if U R trying 2 'compress' it a lot, & JooToob & others all fake their 'resolution' by $elling absurd 'frame size' as if that means 'detail' =P  The so-called '1080p' on Youtube is about the same as a typical good quality dual layer (7GB or so) movie on DVD (MPEG2), whether the $tream is VP9 or AV1 or MP4 or whatever else, & their so-called '4K' is more like 'Blu-ray' (1080p).  Also important 2 note N E thing over about 1100 pixels wide is pretty much a waste of time & doesn't relaly look N E better (if it's 'clean' & not just 'frame size' nonsense, crushed 2 $hit like JooToob doz =P).  If (4 example) U play a fancy Blu-ray or something on some oddball 'obsolete trash' TV with some crazy oddball 'not relaly proper HD' res like 'WXGA' 1366x768 fed by analog VGA it can look even better than 'Full HD 1080p' or beyond, especially if U R using 1 of those old bulky power hungry fluorescent back lit TVs like this 'trash' Vizio from Craigslist on my kitchen table =) ~>

      @AdamDufour You can do an upgrade but a fresh installation is more of a clean way of doing it.
      And you computer crash is either a driver problem or a hardware defect. Try to fill up you RAM and see if you computer crashes, if yes then that means a RAM stick is defect.

      @AdamDufour i 100% advice a fresh install / yes - dualboot with xp is totally possible / u self proclaimed ex-pc-expert are posting a shit ton of unnecessary infos regarding ur specs - just write mainboard/cpu/gpu/ram modell - one line each - i wont search this hardware dump for ur specs - but if it boots its probably "compatible". If u rlly think ur memory is the problem plz test with memtest - this(FOSS): https://memtest.org/ or this one(proprietary): https://www.memtest86.com/
