@Ramsey Since i dont know if my other comment got uploaded ill ask here. I tried to install WinXP-IE but i got this errors https://imgur.com/a/OpXWNZn. I am using usb to install and its made with WinSetupFromUSB. Now that i read the Readme.txt again i see this ""Auto format it with FBinst" and choose "NTFS" or FAT32/FAT16 when you install Windows XP on a computer from the Stone Age.". And tbh the pc i try to install it its quite old and maybe this error may be from that i havnt formatted it with FAT32/FAT16.

@Genadi if the computer is very old then it probably doesn't support SSE2 and you have to remove the SSE2 updates with the Patch Integrator script.

@Ramsey It wont work for some reason. Now it gave me some 7zip error. Then i got an error inetcpl.cpl "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permission to acces that item.

    Hello Ramsey,
I am trying to install WinXP-IE on a SATA SSD from a USB and I am able to complete the Text mode of the Setup without issue, however when I attempt to launch the Graphical part via Grubdos or booting directly to the SSD, The installer says it requires the "asms" file from WinXP Service Pack 3 and asks for a path to it.

@Symbiotic Update: I was able to solve my problem, but now I receive a BSOD Stop Code 0x7B whenever I try to boot into XP. It shows the WinXP load screen for a moment, then crashes.

      @Symbiotic
ASMS is in the i386 folder of the XP installation media, so you're attempted XP install lost track of the install media (lack of USB 3.0 drivers most likely)

You'll need to run XP install again, this time make sure to use the optional patch integrator to properly integrate USB 3.0 drivers for installation.

Hi..I want to ask...I have a 5TB external drive and is it possible to connect USB to Windows XP? Is there a patch? Or just the internal drive? Thank you..

@Lucas Windows XP 32-bit has a 2TB partition limit. What you can do is, re-format your Hard Disk into MBR with 2x2TB partition and 1x1TB partition. Or buy an older Hard Disk that supports "512 Byte Emulation" (512e).

Hi Ramsey, I have a few questions about using  this WinXp Integral Edition...
First:,   is the Outlook Express 6 standalone, or does it require IE8 (or IE6) to work?
Second:, does Outlook Express 6 have it's  default Address Book, or is that what you removed?
Third:.how is the PAE patch activated, and are there any driver issues(especially printers) when it's activated.  And is it easy to un-activate  it.

@jbclem It needs IE6 and has Address Book included. You can test everything in a VirtualBox.

Ramsey! Thank you again..... got a DELL Wyse thin client 909543-11L and it originally came with XP preinstalled but was setup for commercial use. I was able to reinstall your copy and the system works great! Thank you again! the specs are a AMD Sempron 1.5Ghz processor, 2GB DDR2 memory and a 2GB IDE SSD. hopefully, I'll be able to upgrade the memory to 4GB and get the Sata cables to use newer SSD's, but in the meantime, I'm buying a 44 pin IDE cable to be able to use older 2.5" IDE drives...
    Pictures pending!

Hi Ramsey, love the custom ISO
I have a problem that I might be overthinking -
I am trying to install XP on a device with an NVMe as its primary storage from a bootable USB I made using WinSetupToUSB as per the instructions. However, even though I'm able to make it through setup for the most part, when it asks me where I'd like to install the OS, the setup shows only my USB on the MBR devices. Is there a way to allow setup to detect my NVMe? Thanks.

@Symbiotic Install it on HDD and clone it to the NVMe
you can also install in on Vbox and mount the VDI then clone it

@Symbiotic Update: I was able to solve my error using the optional patches to make a customized ISO. And now, despite Setup seeing my NVMe and seemingly installing XP successfully to it, it will not boot to XP successfully. It just returns to the USB setup. When I select option 1 or 2 (Auto detect and use F6 SATA/RAID/SCSI Driver), I get an error stating "No matching PCI IDs in DRIVERPACK.INI File". For documenting purposes, the custom options I chose are "1,2,3,4,5,6,8,A,B,C,D,E".

Okay so uh, wireless network just straight up died with that. The driver seems to work mostly fine but, when scanning for near networks, it just straight up shows nothing. I think it worked fine with WXP vanilla and does with Linux.

    Attempted :
    - Reboot the PC
    - Checked the drivers
    - Checked if the network card isn't damaged
    - Attempted with other OSes (worked)

If you really think it's the drivers, well there you go :
    PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_5390&SUBSYS_1636103C&REV_00

@Grissa If you want to use that option as described in the ReadMe file then Yes.

    Hi Ramsey! I've been using XP Integral edition for a while now for software testing purposes via Hyper-V, Windows' built-in virtualization platform. It's been working swimmingly thus far, but I've been having issues with sound drivers - in the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties, it states that there is no audio device installed. I've already installed all drivers that came with the latest version to no avail - I've even went as far as to scour old windows forums and all of the .dll download pages, also to no avail. The closest I've gotten so far is trying to manually/forcibly install Microsoft's HD Audio Class Driver (KB888111), but that doesn't work either. The readme says KB888111 is already installed but it either is not, or is malfunctioning. This is evident in my registry - I see entries for .dll and .exe files that do not exist. I have tried replacing those files to no avail. I did download a copy of KB888111 from Microsoft's website, and once KB888111 is unzipped and you are in the correct region folder there are four .exe files;

    - kb888111srvrtm.exe
    - kb888111xpsp1.exe
    - kb888111xpsp2.exe
    - kb888111w2ksp4.exe

Both *srvrtm.exe and *xpsp4.exe give an error stating 'The version of Windows you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install,' while *xpsp1.exe and *xpsp2.exe both state 'Setup has detected that the Service Pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying. There is no need to install this update.'

I've been trying for a few days now to get audio to working but it's seeming like an impossible task. I am hoping you could possibly help me get audio to working on my installation. It seems like you've been at this for a while - thank you for your extended service of XP Integral Edition.

@QuarTheDev KB888111 is already included in WinXP-IE as written in the ReadMe file.
On VirtualBox the Audio works but when you Virtualisation software doesn't have any Windows XP audio driver then you need to use another Virtualisation software.

@Ramsey I believe I understand. So Hyper-V might not be ideal and it'd be best for me to switch to VirtualBox  virtualisation software? Do you have a direct link to the KB888111 drivers on hand  just in case? Tomorrow evening I will download VirtualBox and I'll update on the progress.

@QuarTheDev All works OK on VMware-Workstation-16, audio, video, network, MyPal-YouTube...
In VMware menu you must select, VM > Removable-Devices > Sound-Card > Connect
