AccurateRip is way better.  Do not use the 'float' thing or 'check while ripping' thing.  It's not supposed 2 harm the sound, but it does (subtle).  The 'verify against database' thing is GR8 tho =) ~>
      For Blu-rays & DVDs & stuff, MakeMKV is GR8 ~>
If there R problems, can try others like DVDFab HD Decrypter v3.1.6.0 , & version 8QT v8.2.3.0, Amerisoft DVD Copier v2.5.1.5, Tipard DVD Cloner 6 v6.2.26.64560, etc., in that order.  I've tried them 'all' & many kinds leave 'silent' errors or don't work as well in various ways.  Basically whatever doesn't rip with the first thing, move down the line until it rips =)

@Lucas BTW: AnyDVD is also useful, but more compliated 2 'reset' after the 'trial' expires =P  It's the 'last resort' definitely =;-P  NO point trying N E others, unless U don't mind random errors it won't even mention 2 U so U know U need 2 try something else = worst of the worst!  Not the ones iListed, but those iDo not, like other brands.  Some may B as good but these R all 'free' if U use them right =)

I installed this version of windows xp but I am having a hard time finding powershell. It is not listed in add/remove programs with updates checked, nor do I see it in \system32\powershell or anything like that.

How can I install this? the description says it is an xp application included in this version?

@Prathamesh Bankar Are you lazy and like to deliberately waste people's time? Says right there in the page U R on right now in the features list ~> "* PAE Patch v3.6: Allows you to set the RAM limit from 3.5 Gigabyte to 4 Gigabyte or to 128 Gigabyte."

    Hi Ramsey!

I've been using your builds for years and I thank you for your dedication into keeping XP alive. I was wondering what I would have to do to get the Tablet PC edition installed on a laptop of mine? I would like to have all of the quality of life improvements and updates in your integral edition but also include the Tablet PC components?

    Thank you

    -Onehit

@Onehit Tablet PC Edition only has some extra tools included which you probably won't use anyway. And if you really need one of this tools, then you will find better tools on the internet.

@Ramsey HAHAHA as if there is a replacement file explorer that is as efficient & convenient as the 'Explorer' & 'Save As Dialog Box' in Windows XP =))  It's literally the main reason iGave up on everything else & am not ever going to bother trying to use anything but XP, unless there is a modular 'thinapp' type way to run the explorer & save as thing from XP on other things like Windows 10, etc., which iHave suggested U offer but U refuse, even when iAm offering 2 pay U 2 do it.  Reminds me how iPost how 2 improve 10 & later by automatically disabling all suicide code (so-called 'updates') by default using the 'sordum' tool, but no = your only interest really is just 2 hijack browsers 2 get 'advertising' 4 yor site, not actually advance things in the best way, even when it is E Z & free 2 do = WoW =P

@Onehit Ramsey is a sadistic twit who's goal is to pretend U R wrong 2 want what U R asking 4, instead of admitting he has no interest in helping U or 2 lazy 2 bother.  It's like a fat girl mocking fit ones as if that fixes their appearance 'How dare U B fit.  U really should B fat & lazy like MEEE!' LOL

@Dood McMan You can freely add any program you want. But to force other users to use them which has no benefits to them is a bit selfish.
And please post your rants into one post. And you don't need to add an email as a guest (Like bla@bla.com).
Also check out 4chan, I think it would be a nice playground for you. 😅

@Ramsey Well I need to use the tablet pc edition because I have older laptops with built in touchscreens with styluses. I have a Thinkpad X230 Tablet that can work with Windows XP. Lenovo's driver page has the drivers for the multitouch panel under Windows XP, but it lists it under the tablet PC edition. I'm not sure if it will work under regular XP.

      Hi,
you can use your original Tablet version of XP.
      Update this one to SP3.
Then you can use the Patch Integrator.
And after this, the website Legacy Update.
I have done this with a Japanese XP SP2 to full working Tablet XP SP3 with all
      new drivers and updates

    Hi Ramsey,
is there a way to overcome the click for the XP License Agreement during Gui Setup,
(or to set "I accept this agreement" always to true),
because I have during Setup for Acpi XP
no mouse and no keyboard on the HP 255 g6.

Can it be done in a setting in $winnt$.inf in windows\system32
    Thanks a lot
    Dietmar

@Dietmar I never saw any other solution than to add the OemSkipEula=Yes into the WINNT.SIF file to skip the EULA nonsense. I didn't added this into the WINNT.SIF file because it disables the repair option. 🙄

@infuscomus Solved .  .  it is because of low voltage ⚡

Now what about using modded bios and modded firmware available

      is it usually recommended
      😕🙂

what do even you need win10pe for?
you can run it on real hardware.

@Omegion What are you using? Rufus and Ventoy gave me BSOD aswell. At last i burned it on CD and installed it that way. You may need to change some things in BIOS as well.

Hey, I just installed your iso on virtualbox to test it. I ran smartsniff to see if there are any suspicious activity. there are some weird IP's getting connecting without doing anything, not sure if they are malicious or not. Keep in mind, i didn't install anything or was running anything while capturing packets.

@xpuser Some of the additional programs do a version update check. By deinstalling them one by one you can see what domain belongs to what program.

@xpuser Unless you analyze the protocol, smartsniff isn't the tool you should use for this.

      1) Use DNSQuerySniffer for an easy summary on what domains various programs are trying to hook up to.
And pay attention to what servers/direction are involved as it can be scanning requests from the outside to your computer and not any program of yours trying to get out. Some software (usually browsers) also fall-back to their favorit DNS server instead of those you have configured (ipconfig.exe /all).
And requests that's found in your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS aren't shown as they are answered without looking it up.

      2) Use LiveTcpUdpWatch to see actual connections and where they end up.
It excludes the packet data but include the process name and is great to keep track on what program is trying to do what.
Notice that some malicous software in the old days asked other software to do their connection for them (explorer/iexplore) so that's a good reason to block them from accessing the Internet.

Both can be minimized to taskbar and set to log to file, so you can leave it in the background take a look when you suspect something or feel curious.
Make your own filters to ignore traffic that's ok and would clutter up the log needlessly.

The author of Supermium added support for Windows XP, now Supermium is compatible with Windows XP and works perfectly.
