@Hivert When its ready... That is the only answer you'll ever gonna get.

    Hi guys!
Is there a x64 version as complete as this one?
    Thanks!
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Rei · 5 years ago
@Robotu There isn't alotta software out there that supports 64-bit WinXP so installing it is nearly pointless. This 32-bit WinXP relies on POSReady 2009 to keep it up to date & there isn't one for 64-bit WinXP.

      @Rei @Rei
All software works on XP x64. XP x64 has zero compatability issues. You are confusing XP x64 with XP 64-bit Edition. They are not the same.

      Rei · 4 years ago
@Horst Wessel I know they are not. One of them is for the Itanium microprocessor with Instruction Set Architecture for that Intanium, while the other one is actually the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003 rebranded as Windows XP. Either way, both are way out of support & out-of-date & no longer viable to be maintained.

@Rei Regardless, your statement "There isn't alotta software out there that supports 64-bit WinXP" is wrong. The only software that doesn't work on XP x64 is 16-bit software (which doesn't work on ANY 64-bit version of Windows) and stuff made very very recently or which won't work unless you're on the newest version. Steam, for example, didn't drop XP support until about a year or two ago. Firefox didn't drop XP support until about 3 and a half years ago, and even then, you can still install Firefox 52 ESR and MOST websites will work with it.

The bigger issue is hardware compatibility. Just about anything made in the past 6 years won't have Windows XP or Vista drivers.

Hey, sorry to keep bothering you folks. I did a dumb thing: I accidentally deleted the "My Pictures, Music, Videos," etc shortcuts by mistake. How do I bring them back? Google search didn't bring up many working solutions.

      Rei · 5 years ago
@Yardam Did you try looking for it at the recycling bin? If it's gone, you can still recover it with an undelete program such as Recuva: www.recuva.com

@Rei Surprised that there isn't a sound way to get them back after they've been deleted from the Recycle Bin. But I did find a copy of the folders in one of my system backups: all good now!

Hello Ramsey. I installed the windows and the gpu clocks, as also the voltage and utilization, of the gpu, are almost, all of the time on their highest values, and the gpu is heating quite a bit on a 2D mode, on desktop, not playing any 3D games?

On a different installation of windows xp that I use, the gpu doesnt do this, and its temp. is always on a reasonable values when on 2D mode
My gpu is AMD Radeon R9 270X

Hey Ramsey. I tried to use my Logitech 250 webcam but the moment any program tries to access the camera the whole computer locks up. Maybe the mouse can move, but that's it. I then can't close the program that was trying to access the camera.

Any idea what's causing this? I tried different ports only to get the same result. This issue doesn't happen on 7, 8/8.1, 10 or Linux for that matter.

    Ramsey thanks for the answers
I wanted to ask you again: in your xp where that classic image of the installation where it is written (Setup will complete in approximately: 39 minutes) ?
Can it be restored? In which file can I find it? (clap)

Always if you want to explain it to me .

    Hi Ramsey !
Congratulations on this Sp3. Works well .
But I need to streamline the ISO .
I would like the installation to end with the DriverPacks finisher 11.09,
and not appear (Windows XP Integral Edition - Options Selector).
Can you explain me how to proceed in order not to have error messages ?
    Thanks

      Ramsey · 5 years ago
      @Martino Contento
The DriverPacks finisher will run before the "Options Selector".
And to not run the "Options Selector" simply open the file "OEM\RunOnce\WinXPPx86IE - Setup.cmd" with a text editor and write "EXIT" in a new line where you want it to stop.

Hmm. So tried to install this again on a separate partition next to Windows 10. Installer finishes first phase but then it tells me this once I reboot: "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: <Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe. Please re-install a copy of the above file." I'm using the ISO burned to a CD.

What's causing this? Is it because XP bootloader couldn't find Windows 10?

@Yardam it might have tried to overwrite the windows 10 bootloader

it's easier to install XP onto its own separate drive.

@infuscomus That’s sounds like it. I do have a separate hdd setup, I just got tired of swapping between my two drives every day, hah.

Could I install XP first, and then install 10, to have the options available? Or maybe I can fix it with EasyBCD.

@Yardam The easiest solution to have both OSes o the same drive would be to wipe everything off the drive, delete partitions, everything.

then install XP on the 1st partition and windows 10 on the 2nd partition.

@infuscomus Excellent. I’ll just do that. Might take a bit to back up my files, but hey, it’s worth the trouble!

    Hey,

I installed this a few weeks ago on a separate hard drive and it's been running almost perfectly with your optimizations. Saved me a whole lot of time for a nice little XP setup.

Later I tried to install it as a dual boot alongside my main Windows 10 drive. But once the setup finished the first phase (after it finished copying files and rebooted) it couldn't detect either OS because the bootloader was broken, and hence wouldn't boot. I tried it a couple of times before I had to go into another Windows USB to fix the bootloader.

Any way to install this alongside newer Windows versions?

    Thanks!

@Yardam Make two Primary partitions and then use the BIOS Boot option to switch between boot devices.

      Yardam · 5 years ago
@Ramsey Hmm. Which BIOS boot option, do you mean the one in the boot device menu?

@Ramsey Oh sorry, I see what you mean. I wasn't clear before: I meant I installed it on the same drive as my Windows 10 install, and it didn't work because of some bootloader issue.

@Yardam Like i said make two Primary partitions and not two Logical partitions.

@Ramsey I’m quite sure I’ve done that, though. Besides the System reserved partition, one primary is called Ten and the other is called XP.

@Yardam If you did that then you can switch between the partitions with the BIOS boot option without touching any boot-loader.

    Hi Ramsey,

in case you missed my earlier message -

@infuscomus Is their not a backported Windows 8 NVMe driver?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      infuscomus · 5 years ago
@Ramsey there is, but from what I've heard from diderius6 and andalu it is unreliable.

This modded Samsung driver is apparently the best.

@infuscomus Did someone posted on how to add the secnvmef.sys file to the TXTSETUP.SIF file?

      infuscomus · 5 years ago
@Ramsey I think giving secnvme.sys and secnvmeF.sys the generic NVME ID should work

for your script this would be

      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\DOSNET.INF" -s "FloppyFiles.1" -l "d1,secnvme.sys" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\DOSNET.INF" -s "Files" -l "d1212,secnvme.inf" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\DOSNET.INF" -s "Files" -l "d1212,secnvme.sys" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\TXTSETUP.SIF" -s "SourceDisksFiles.x86" -l "secnvme.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1,,,1,4" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\TXTSETUP.SIF" -s "SourceDisksFiles.x86" -l "secnvme.inf = 1212,,,,,,,1212,0,0" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\TXTSETUP.SIF" -s "SourceDisksFiles.x86" -l "secnvme.sys = 1212,,,,,,,1212,0,0" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\TXTSETUP.SIF" -s "HardwareIdsDatabase" -l "PCI\CC_010802 = \"secnvme\"" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\TXTSETUP.SIF" -s "SCSI.Load" -l "secnvme = secnvme.sys,4" -once

      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\DOSNET.INF" -s "FloppyFiles.1" -l "d1,secnvmeF.sys" -once
      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\DOSNET.INF" -s "Files" -l "d1212,secnvme.inf" -once

      "Integrator Files\Tools\Fedit.exe" -add -f "compiling\I386\TXTSETUP.SIF" -s "SCSI" -l "secnvmeF = \"Generic NVMe Controller (Samsung Driver)\"" -once

also secnvme.inf diderius6 sent is missing generic ID

      add these to secnvme.inf

      [COMM.NTx86]
      %COMMNvmeGeneric.DeviceDesc% = nvme_inst, PCI\CC_010802

      [Strings]
      ;

@Ramsey some mistakes in TXTSETUP.SIF with this integrator

      currently

      PCI\VEN_144D&DEV_A808&SUBSYS_A801144D = "nvme"
      PCI\VEN_144D&DEV_A804 = "nvme"
      PCI\VEN_144D&DEV_A802 = "nvme"

      should be

      PCI\VEN_144D&DEV_A808&SUBSYS_A801144D = "secnvme"
      PCI\VEN_144D&DEV_A804 = "secnvme"
      PCI\VEN_144D&DEV_A802 = "secnvme"
      PCI\CC_010802 = "secnvme"

i updated the integrator to reflect this
